Good for you. Did you used to play those games when captain of the Elizabethan concrete cricket team?

No
No English middle order batsmen in the ball

71* Rogers
20* The George , who, by being not out, kept a few keyboard assassinators at bay

Happy for Rogers. Would love to see him ton up and leave the series with a career average in the 40s which is where it deserves to be IMHO. Looks to have the class for the level.

Knives have been sharpened, used, cleaned and sharpened again for Bailey. More second innings runs against a bowling attack shot to bits expecting to go down 5-0 mean nothing now. Had the chance in the first to score some really seriously meaningful runs and failed. Once too often I fear. Doolan to come in at #3, Watson to 6 where I hope he tries to emulate Haddin's positivity without turning into reckless.

I'd imagine they will bat normally until lunch. Go hard until tea. Would be 450+ in front. Then bowl I'd say.

If they bat until tea they will be at least 500 in front but I reckon that would roughly be the plan. Get 500 in front with a 2-3 over burst before the tea break.

I want to see Borthwink bowl, I need a chuckle

I hope Bailey **** off and never comes back. He's just not up to it at Test level, this series has proven that.

Knew it wouldn't take long.
Wouldn't have mattered what he did, makes 100, everyone says 2nd innings tons mean nothing in a dead rubber test/series.
Its obvious he has been poor, but at least they gave him 10 innings to show something. It hasn't worked out, so he won't go to SOuth Africa and the search for a number 6 will continue. Only thing that may save him will be that no shield cricket is being played currently.
Im happy that we gave him a reasonable chance. We have been winning and he has got stuck into some of the weaker units in this English side.
You probably said the same thing about Rogers aswell.

Differance is Rogers has been piling on runs in proper cricket for years and deserved a crack. Bailey averaged 18 in the shield last year and got in the side on the back of runs in meaningless games whilst the leading run scorers at Shield level get passed over.
