Some great whinging going on at the Telegraph:

"All cricket instinct tells you Root didn't hit that - but the DRS procedure is such that the third umpire felt he could not be entirely certain that the decision should be overruled. Had it been given not out on the field, it would have stayed not out. FOW: 90/2"

Poms, gotta love em.

Was the same with Smith, he was pretty certain he didn't hit his as well. That's the problem with this system. Send it to the Wingfield dump and just go back to the umps making decisions as they have for 100 years prior ;)

Go back to the old way and they'd still be whinging...Smith not out, Root out

England in no hurry here, interesting ploy, perhaps bat this session out in safe mode and make sure have plenty in the shed for tomorrow
and come out and attack, 8 runs in the last 5 overs and 5 of them were wides

Pietersen blasts his way to 3 off a mere 6 overs:
ENG: 2/ 109 (42.3)
AUS: All Out 385 (103.3)
Batting Now
KP Pietersen* 3 (35)
AN Cook 52 (129)

Bowling
SR Watson 1 / 22 (5.3)

Is there anything England can do faster than a turtle?

And Siddle gets FIGJAM again.
Bats for over an hour and a half to make stuff all and then gets out to a rank shot

Yes your predictions were pretty good
I will acknowledge it if no one else will
I know the feeling
I've sometimes predicted accurately in the past , with little or no credits from the others
I give them the benefit of the doubt, they expect it from me !

Yeah surprising Johnson has none for. This was meant to be his pitch to bowl on. I think when he gets his 1st he'll fire up.
