Just devalued 140 years of test cricket if they are the same

The baggy green wasnt even valued by most players until the steve waugh era. Bradman gave a ton of his away, and until recently they would get a new one for each series.

So not sure how it can can all of a sudden be "sacrosanct" or devalue 140 years of cricket when the players themselves have mostly only valued it for 25 years or so

A good article on the subject here

Until about 2000 you got a new one every 12 months or overseas tour. Hence why Bradman had so many....

The women's doesn't seem to fit their head right so I think they are not identical to the men's anyway

Yeak ok... thats a good enough reason to now devalue it. At least make them identifiable so they cant be passed off as mens baggy greens, this may or may not be the case anyway, id be surprised if there wasnt a difference of some sort.

For me, women wearing the baggy green doesn't devalue the men's version, but the women not wearing the baggy green devalues the women's game

No hat has devalued 140 years of cricket. Rubbish comment. However T20 on the other hand.

I had some very inappropriate thoughts after seeing that photo of Ellyse Perry with white zinc on.

She is a hell of an athlete, had to give up being a gun player at soccer to concentrate on solely being a gun player at cricket.
