Hate to do this to a player I like but bowling figures of 1.3-0-32-0 could well see Hilfy adding a baggy Brice to his baggy green

To his defense he picked up a 4 fa I think in round 1.

Nominations occur from a bad performance if this is offset by actual form in other games he won't make the final team. Going for nearly 4 a ball is Spud X1 type form.

McDonald surly now is the first selected.
He's injured and has done nothing in the torny.
Blown up Puffer Fish now looks like a Red Mullet after being in the WA sun today and needs to feel wanted.

Carberry gets a reprieve?

He still looked awkward at times out there but got going tonight

6 . James Hopes - a tad unlucky, results not going his way
7 . Dan Worrall -
8 . Michael Beer -
9 . Clive Rose -
10 . Ben Hilfenhous -

Scary thing about that list is that most of those players have played test match cricket.

Scarier that you relate this list to test cricket

James Hopes needs to be shown some respect.
He's a fair bit older than the rest and has shown some goolies in the past.
Untouchable for mine.

Voges and Morgan getting a close look at for the XI, both under performing and not even striking at 100

Voges and Mcdonald are all but locks at the moment.

Carberry has earned a reprieve.

Has Bravo done much? He might be the second international

Carberry is an interesting one. He made some runs but guided his team to a 20 run defeat. They never looked like winning with him at the crease.

I agree with you(I rate him as a player), but you did say to enter players on current form in this comp....
Carberry would have been one of the first picked until last night.
Bravo, Voges are close to selection.
Someone asked about Bravo's performances? I havent seen enough, but while on West Indians, has Sammy done anything to warrant his spot?

Renegads have a few under the radar

Cooper 2 innings 10 runs at 5

Rohrer 2 innings 18 runs at 9

Siddle 2 games 0 wickets at 7.83 RPO

Not a bad first edition at the half way mark. My suggestions for some early adjustments...

- Worrall probably needs to be batting at 10
- I hope that Hopes isn't in the final 11 as he is a good honest cricketer
- you haven't named a Captain but I think its Maxwell in a canter currently
- no Strikers nominated as yet and rightly so but I'm certain that will change before the finals conclude
- Ryder can't really be selected if he doesn't play. Until I see Carberry help his team win a game he is in there for me.

All in all a fairly good Spud X1 with 6 or 7 entrenched I reckon.

Not sure how forum favourite our ole mate Nate Hauritz has escaped nomination. RPO of 9.82 but has got a few wickets with his straighter one :)

Peter Forrest can bypass the selection criteria and jump straight in to the XI for wearing number 00
