Does anything sum up the farce that this tournament is more than NZ leaving out Boult and Southee? Head and shoulders the best bowlers they have but the conditions are so far skewed away from fast bowlers they would rather play part timers. Imagine the sooking from India if back in the day Kumble and Harbhajan were omitted and they went relying on Ganguly's medium paste back in the day?

It's the farce of the Indians putting everything in their favor to win the tournament. As I've said to my mates- I don't care who wins this World Cup just as long as India doesn't win it. NZ looks like the team that will do that. The West Indies are a good chance to win it aswell.

I'm praying that we beat India tomorrow morning just to knock them out of contention.

A great innings from Kohli last night, I woke up and watched some of it. He killed it, the bowlers had no answers.

Yeah watched it this morning, thought the Aussies bowled pretty well on the whole, but he batted out of his skin in the last 5 overs

Bcos Smith didnt have faith in him to deliver the goods under pressure.
Will never know now whether it was the difference?

It's as poor as game 1 when he only got the 1 over for 3 runs

Coulter-Nile was out of his depth in that environment. Have to agree with the others that it was a disgrace that Smith didn't have the confidence in Zampa.

In the end we simply didn't score enough runs.

Somebody who we really missed in this tournament was Mitchell Starc. He has been included in Australia's squad for the Tri Series against South Africa and the West Indies in the West Indies.

The series starts in June, Travis Head and Nathan Lyon have also been in the squad. Scott Boland was overlooked, Kane Richardson was ruled out wuth his current back injury while Shaun Marsh was not considered for selection because his wife is expected to give birh to their first child around that time of the year.

In other news Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of the India v West Indies semi final with an ankle injury. Gee I hope the West Indies win that game.

Windies are a massive chance of doing the World T20 Double !!!!
Windies Women beat Australia for the 1st time ever, having previously lost their last 8 encounters. Chased down Australias 5/147 with 2 balls to spare.
Interesting to see ALL the West Indies male players rush out on the oval to celebrate with them. Lol They love to party.
In the Mens Final, England sent into bat recovered from 3/23 and then 7/111 to make 9/155.
The Caribbean Islands will be partying non stop for the next month if they pull this off.

Windies batsmen are simply the most BRAINDEAD IDIOTS EVER to play the game !
3/11 off 3 overs.
Johnson Charles is an utter HACK. Cant believe he's ever made runs at this level. His shot was diabolical.
Well Gayle is Gayle. Just plays the same way every time and not surprising he skied a ball straight up.
Both wickets of ROOT in the 2nd over
Simmons the hero in the Semi Final makes a duck. LBW Did he even play a shot at it? Was Plumb. Just hard to understand what these guys are thinking ?
Samuels has done nothing for ages, just as likely to be the hero here.
