Disastrous day so far. Scoring at 3.5 runs per over against all our bowlers. Going away from us fast.

Barely played last year due to suffering depression.

Really? I didn't know that. Seeing it more and more in cricket with players having to take a time out from the game. Symptom of cricket becoming more and more a livelihood rather than a love?

More socially acceptable to talk about it these days. In the past players would have just walked away never to be seen again

Mennie picks up Paine TAS 6/301 at tea. McDermott not out 99 off 222 balls.

Could Paine come under scrutiny for his reaction when he got out?

Results heading SA's way so far, rain forecast all weekend in QLD and VIC in a commanding position so far, and NSW chasing plenty vs WA.

Ahead of QLD now, but they've still got 40 overs to pick up the remaining 4 wickets.. they get them 4 wickets and they'll finish ahead of us - we would need them to lose/draw and us win.

Otherwise we need them to lose and we draw.
