Starc doesn't really have a basement to his bowling performances. If he doesn't take wickets he becomes wayward and ineffective.

And this is why Hazlewood is a better bowler.

Along with his batting it's great how Renshaw has contributed in the field in the important position that is first slip, he doesn't look out of place there. Great call by Usman Khawaja who told Steve Smith to place Renshaw at first slip.

I have a bolter for the Indian tour
32 year old New Zealand born off spinner Will Somerville
Has only played 6 Sheffield Shield games for New South Wales

In his first 3 innings of bowling in Australia his figures were 0/160
He took his first Sheffield Shield wicket against South Australia
At that time I had thought he was just an average bowler , but not anymore

Since the 0/160 he has taken 24/403
Somerville now has 24/563 at 23.45 per wicket in the Sheffield Shield
He has taken 12/351 in first innings bowling , 29.25 average
He has taken 12/212 in second innings bowling , 17.66 average

Australia now has Fawaz Ahmed , Johan Botha and Will Somerville who have qualified to play for Australia if picked

I think the selectors will pick Nathan Lyon , and rightly so, and probably Ashton Agar on potential, for the Indian tour
