it was Vijay, unless Kholi has had plastic surgery to make him look like Vijay

Cricinfo commentary ...

44.1
Johnson to Vijay, no run, that lands short of the slip cordon! It was a well directed short one.. rearing towards the batsman's face, hits the gloves and loses the momentum to drop ahead of Haddin
44.2
Johnson to Vijay, no run, another bouncer, this one smacks him on the back of the helmet. That is a hard blow there but Vijay is fine. Lyon walks in to check on the batsman
44.3
Johnson to Vijay, no run, back of length on off, the batsman comes forward and defends it to off
44.4
Johnson to Vijay, no run, length delivery just outside off, the batsman leaves it alone on the angle
44.5
Johnson to Vijay, no run, this is sharp stuff from Johnson. It's pacy and it's rearing towards the head everytime. Vijay looks to play at it first, then drops his shoulders to get out of the way

I'd be hugely surprised if they surpass our score. I think they will be batting to save the game on day 5.

Australia have not conceded an extra and it's the 53rd over. It's subtle pressures like that which leave me confident we will sweep the sooks.

No it doesnt, cost us 17 runs and the chance at our bowlers having a crack at a new batter last night.

Dont think 17 runs is going to make much difference, getting smashed around the "G" at the moment

Not so much the runs but having a crack at a new batter with a difficult little period remaining. Terrible miss for anyone let alone a guy with gloves

Think we are seeing how piss poor the English batters were last season, Johnson being treated with contempt, fair enough he has lost 5 to 6km/h but these guys having a field day against him right now

personally looks like he has lost a bit of the fire in the belly,

his reaction to hitting Kohli in Adelaide and his bowling tactics to him afterwards suggests this to me.

Lyons that is the worst drop by an Australian in Test matches in ten years. Disgraceful miss

Watson drops one that Haddin might have gone for. Hate seeing the Australians drop multiple catches in quick succession.

Is Watson the worse first slip Australia has ever had?

I reckon if there was a drop/catch ratio he would be number 1 by some distance.
