Short dropping Jewell in the 2nd over on 8 hurt badly. Fielding has been pretty average.. for a while now.

Execution from bowlers is terrible - Thornton & Conway just bowled length.. at least Agar tries to change it up but at his pace goes the journey.

Bowled a fair few full tossers today too.

Fair shout to the Hurricanes though, some lusty hard hitting from start to finish.

Great partnership between Lynn and Short, put on 124 in 9.4 overs.
2/147 from 13 overs, need 83 from 42.

I want to report a robbery…..

Handy No-ey call in the 17th over
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm ok with the benefit of any doubt going to the batter. It's pretty easy .... don't bowl high full tossrs, hit the pitch.

First look when he bowled it I thought it was too high so wasn’t surprised they referred it. Also I always thought it was waist high at the crease line? Hose was well behind the crease and it was still high.. if he was equally as far in front of the crease I’m not sure it would’ve been called coz he came forward.

Interesting in that if David hadn't taken the catch it wouldn't have been reviewed and the no-ball wouldn't have been called. We scored a 6 of the free hit and a 6 off the last ball (the 7th ball).

Is it correct that Rashid Khan will play no further here because he is playing in Africa for another (obviously) franchise and not on International duty?

After looking it up and if I have it correct:

He is captaining Capetown which is owned by Mumbai but is playing for Gujarat in the IPL. Surprised he is the captain but then again I don't really follow it.

So many competitions,

Chris Lynn is also off to play in the new SAT20 Competition aswell DOC, it's attracted alot of the international players, taking them away from potentially playing in the BBL.

Is there any way in Australia that a Test Series and BIG bash can be played at different times?
