If ingle Farms midfield can get on top make the defenders jobs alot easier to stop Weetra

Never read so much rubbish - and I've posted my share over the time.

"The game will be won / lost in the midfield"
"If ingle Farms midfield can get on top make the defenders jobs alot easier to stop Weetra"

**** me dead, you don't get bonus points for pointing out the obvious!

You're both wrong though - Para Hills aren't a one man band, they have Cree, Schroeter, Rowlands forward. Hrynkiw has proven himselves over recent years off the half back, along with Nuske use the ball well.

Mo Keita is a fair footballer and probably 2nd best ruck behind Schutz, then you have Hart, Power, Van Ristell and Hay through the mids... don't forget either about the ginger ninja Matty Travis.

This game won't just be won in the midfield, it'll be a test of whose defence can hold up the best, whose forward line take their chances and ultimately whose team defensively are stronger all over.

Houghton vs Flinders Uni should be a ripper match up between two sides destined to be there when the whips are cracking later this year.

Mawson Lakes vs OSB Lonsdale also critical match - a win super critical to both sides to stay in that middle section of the ladder, whereas a loss places them closer to the bottom. for Mawson Lakes they could potentially fall two games back from the top 5, and whilst it's only Rd 4, that's a fair amount of work to make up.

I'm interested to see how Mitchell Park go vs Hackham this week - haven't seen Hackham first hand, but didn't mind what I saw of the Lions on the weekend, and if they can regain the legendary ballsack off half back they'll prove very difficult to beat.

A win for Mitchell Park and Mawson Lakes would see 4x sides equal on 1 win.. if Para Hills and Flinders Uni win, they'll go 2 games clear at the top. The division will really begin opening up.

Are both wrong? Come on, Bedgy. I'd say I'm pretty close to being spot on, give credit where it is due.
Without Weetra Para Hills, don't win.

Para Hills Goal Scorers this year.
Weetra - 22 out of 46
Hay, Rowlands, Underwood - 4
Hart, Cree - 3
Travis - 2
Spaceman, Power, Bailey, Bowie - 1

Now, let's look at Bedgys Bulldogs.
Goal kickers from rd2 and rd3 only. (Rd1 isn't up on playhq)
T.Rigney - 12 out of 51
B. Rigney - 9
Sandery- 6
Payne - 4
S.Rigney - 3
Delchau, Bennier, Sanderson - 2
Martin, McAleer, McGuire - 1

Doesn't mean they can't win without him, or that they rely solely on him to kick a winning score.. just shows really he's an exceptional talent having an amazing start to the season - and clearly receiving some pretty good delivery.

Also note Cree hasn't played for a couple weeks.

If it was as easy as just shutting down one bloke and winning, then why didn't Houghton do that?

Until anyone shuts him down, why would we kick to anyone else?

Unsure, maybe Robb_Stark or a Houghton coach can answer the question for us? I would have had a plan to shut him down.

Reviewing Both Para Hills & Ingle farm matches this past week, it seems ingle Farm have a fairly decent defensive Line especially with ball in hand the only problem is they lack abit of height if Cree plays it could open up opportunitys for para hills to have multiple goal kickers.

Only two tall defenders for your boys bedge looking at dartfish is J.Weetra - A.McAleer could that be a problem this weekend?

Weetra back to the magoo's following poor form.

Height is only an issue if you want to make it one. 8)

Also are we all forgetting that Para Hills smashed Houghton at Houghton? Raiders beat Ingle Farm in Rd 1, and since then Farmers have only beaten PSB and MP.

Just took a week or two for your players to “gel”

You'd be laughable to drop a tall against Para Hills especially when you have blokes that are 5ft3 in your backhalf shooter - Cree - Weetra in for a Field day against Ingle farm

Good shout mate. Alf has a had a good day, perhaps slightly soured by some bruised ribs and a bruised ego when he stacked tripping over a crate of water bottles on the sidelines and then couldn't get up. Happens when you're still playing footy at 50 years of age.

Good couple of wins for Mitty Parks today. Feels like it's starting to click and we're getting better each week.

Also shout out to I think the 4 or 5 Hackham dudes who played two games today. Massive effort.
