3 cards on the weekend, A grade coach punching someone in the head in one fight, another player earns himself a red after punching a player in the back of the head in a seperate fight… disgusting.

I was too busy listening to the B Graders from Greenacres shitcanning Brahma current and past players in private general conversation right next to the camera. The first 5 minutes has some gold

Was pretty funny albeit not overly accurate. Thought one player was from Salisbury when he is most definitely not, they went on to give him heaps of shit as an ex player albeit he was out there playing in the A Grade.

They got smashed in the 2013 D4 grand final. Instead of going up and fighting it out they took the easy option and went down divs. They haven't been the same since.

Just looked up who they played and it was Plympton. Looked at the Plympton side. What an elite side that was. Timmy Dunkley still having a kick I see.

Interesting to note footy 10 years ago in 2013 was going ok for nothern burb teams.

-Salisbury North top of div 1,
-Eastern Park & Salisbury in div 3,
-Salisbury West and Brahma Lodge playing finals in div 4.
-Para Hills & Elizabeth playing finals in div 5.
-Central United div 6
-Smithfield finals in div 7

It's been a long road, but glad to see Ingle Farm are no longer considered a "Northern burb team"

You're to far up the hill to be a pure northern suburbs club....borderline north east. ;)

BTW was it 2013 you won div 7 flag??? Repeat ten years later.

On a side note, was thinking the other week, it's always tough in our North-East area near Ingle Farm with so many clubs, but this year it's great to see doing well this year - Golden Grove top of D2, Hope Valley top of D3 and Modbury 3rd, Pooraka top of D4, Gepps Cross top of D5 and Kilburn 2nd, Greenacres top of D6, Para Hills top of D7 and Ingle Farm 2nd.

I can't recall a time when all these clubs were at the top of the tree in their respective divisions at the same time.

I have always grouped these clubs into the same "inner north" area:
Kilburn
Gaza
Greenacres
Broadview
Gepps Cross
PNU
Walkerville

All apart from Walkerville have been A1/D1 powerhouses at some stage
For 30 years, the top 4 swapped players like a Glenelg Vice Presidents party
PNU and Walkerville have always had their own type of players and massive junior programmes

Personal view - I dont think the "Inner North" region has the population to support that many clubs.

My bad - sorry

That's 2 more than Gepps X and one more than Gaza!

Someone near the oval had a heart attack and had to be revived, wasn’t a player, not sure if it was a spectator or someone passing through. They stopped the game with about 5 minutes to go.

Was a Smithfield spectator and related to couple of their players I believe. Another guy revived him then the ambos arrived, last I heard he was still breathing and ok. Was a no brainer to end the match.

Because it was called off early it's classed as abandoned, League ask why and if it's reasonable the win/loss is still registered in the system, but has to be updated by the powers that be during the week.

Now i can't remember which way around this goes.. but

If the game is called off before half time, it's a draw and if it's called off after half time, the game goes to the leader at the time
