The great A Jolly is back
Salisbury 60+

Jolly is a star that’s for sure.. See how the rest of the team goes playing at Dwight reserve with no space and some good hard contested footy, should be a cracking game tbh!

I have a solid man-crush on Alex Jolly, great to see him back. I actually reckon the blokes in that Salisbury team who haven't been to Dwight Reserve before (Nicholson, Duncan, Mills etc) will actually really enjoy and be suited to the contested side of it on a small deck.

I'm more interested to know who you're personally going to follow around this time mate? The bald guy you usually put some time into isn't out there anymore you know. ;) 8)

Imagine being over 6 foot and having to put work into a teams smallest and smartest player hahaha always a good battle though, won’t be the same now.. I’m just happy to be back mate, enjoyed our first few games even though they’ve been very tough but hopefully I can find a couple of kicks tomorrow and we get over the line! Fingers crossed for a good game

As i get older, i think it's the one thing that really grinds my gears - when you hear people quip "but we were missing xx amount of players".

Like **** mate, EVERY club has players missing, very very rarely are teams playing at full strength during the season - and if they are it's even rarer it's for long periods of time.

Correct. I get teams have bad weeks with injuries, but if you don’t have at least 6-7 players missing from your clubs best 25 players each week during the minor rounds then you are going along way better than the average club.

I'd happily pay slightly above the $0 admission fee to see this match-up.

I’m tipping the 2 former team mates to share about 60 pints between them after the game to be honest.. Aerobic beast loves some beers

Salisbury were definitely up for it yesterday at Dwight reserve.. One of the tougher games of footy I’ve been involved in, the contested footy was at a high throughout the day and I take my hat off to the Salisbury boys because I didn’t think many of them had that in them! Fingers are crossed for Alex jolly and the other few lads that got injured hoping it’s nothing to serious

They might be facts, but it's an area that impacts every club and sometimes I feel it creates an excuse for sides and their performance (obviously not everyone).

This is a place for Discussion and Rumours, and that what these are, so its up to the clubs to announce when they are ready just like Blackwood have, or they may choose to stay, considering their future isn't necessary leaving their current league.

Any chance it might be a club looking to go back to the SFL from the AdFL after realising the grass wasn't greener on the other side?
