I think Trinity and West Croydon should swap divs

Wonder If WC will explore that given they appear to have lost a fair chunk to Rosewater?

Yeah I can't recall them being any higher. Generally have fluctuated between 5 and 6.

There are many in that category, most of the clubs north of GJR.

EP got to div 1 IIRC
Salisbury 3?

Have the Beff been higher than 5?

Smitty 4.

Lodge, Units 5?

I'm talking since 95 when it pretty much all became 1 I think.

EP were in D1 in 2011 if memory serves correctly.

They played a D2 preliminary final against Uni at Uni to get there and got up by a point in extra time in what was a ripping game.

I think you'll find it was P3, not a traditional 3rd division.

Yeah, so it was, a bit stiff to be put in div 3 after finishing 5th in P3 the previous year, they only really gained Chaplin.

They were up against it playing against Scotch and PAOC etc.

Wc have only lost 3 current agraders to rosewater.
Sumner and o’Toole were at Murrayville last year
halls, bull, Brook, Harding barely played the last 2 years
Birch hasn’t played for Wc years

Walsh is a loss but on the back end of his career
Gags is not 100%.
Pawluk hardly committed to Wc the last 2 years.

Milera goes to Virginia so it’s not much.

A dent, recoverable rebuild.
D6 maybe, maybe not. Still a bit to organise.

P3 in those days would have been around the D4-5 standard. A1 was the equivalent of D2 as it had some of the leagues biggest and strongest clubs running around in it plus the OC regulars. Reckon Elizabeth were D4 in the early 2000’s from memory and have played in probably a couple D5 prelims since.

Wonder what people’s thoughts on the 8 team 14 round seasons are now? It’s not ideal but neither is our current community scenario. Based on current events you’d be kidding yourself if you’d think we’d get through an 18 round season plus finals without interruption - Even if the government in charge changed hands…

Absolutely, can see pretty easily multiple clubs spending multiple weeks with the whole playing group as close contacts of each other and a season marred in chaotic forfeits

Plus the extra pressure on the volunteers of clubs. If we are close to 1000 cases a day now you can only imagine what it will be like at the end of March.
