In the league's email it says

To date, The Hackham Football Club have satisfied all conditions to 5.2 (f)

Does this mean they are in or there are more boxes that need ticking?

Would still be a few boxes to tick off or else it would be announced that the board had approved their entry

Communicating to everyone that they have applied before it breaks on SAFooty 8)

Last big win I can remember us having was our A grade against PNU C grade in 2016....round 15

Flinders Uni 34.17 - 221 to 5.7 - 37

We lost 2 week in finals.....

Good to finally have all teams going well.....

How does finals work for D7? Is it just top 3?

Watched my first game of Div 7 on Saturday for a few years. Mitchell Park v Flinders Uni. Really good game of footy and great to see the Lions starting to look solid and building. Some quality players on both sides who have played high levels of footy. I must say though that what I haven’t missed was the standard of umpiring. Nothing came of it and it had little effect on the result but their decision making was confusing to say the least. Should be a great finals series and I look forward to watching more games in the coming weeks.

If OSB cant win with this lineup, and this many blokes, they never will!

Good to see Lutherans in the lead up to finals have opened up the garage and decided to take Rowan Miegal out for a quick pre finals tune up. If he’s playing no one is beating them imo.

Well done to Nat McDonnell, aka, Grabba, on his fantastic achievement on reaching 350 games for Mitchell Park in the A grade yesterday. A respected club person, a 100 goal forward, a 3 time A grade premiership player, including A grade premiership captain. To stay loyal to the Lions when I’m sure there was plenty of $$$$$ offers out there is testimony to his character. The footy world acknowledges your efforts Nat =D> =D> =D>

SFL sides coming in SAAFL all struggle initially with the stricter umpiring. History suggests Hackham will struggle with a stricter tribunal.

They will be fine and I think they are a club that once established will be a good fit to the league. Didn’t someone say 2 years back that they’d be The standard of a top end div 5 side if they came in?

Watched the Units v Crabs game Saturday.. despite a 100pt defeat, I thought Units battled pretty hard and I wasn't overly impressed with Flinders Uni.

CU were visibly undermanned and lacking key personnel - having no genuine ruckman meant they were more often than not conceding ground and starting from the D50. McMillan was a clear stand out for me, along with Cosenza and Wegener showed glimpses. Few young lads - Carloss-Smith was one of the few Units who worked hard constantly, and Wakerell had a crack.

Lacked any real game plan, and were very lazy/unfit - deserved to be right in the game in the 1st half but just couldn't provide enough pressure around the contest, particularly in the F50 and Flinders ran and spread hard off half back. Fundamental skill errors hurt the Dogs too.

Flinders Uni as mentioned ran pretty well off half back and had some reasonable leg speed, but thought they were pushed off the ball too easily and when pressure was applied faltered. They had a dominance in the midfield with Pinder controlling the ruck which allowed them to win more clearances than they lost, and with Hawthorne deep forward, and the smarts of Webster they really should've made more of their advantages.

Crabs were lazy in their zone and their work rate defensively.. ball in hand they looked potent, and had some very good users of the ball.. but defensively a lot left to be desired.

Will be interested to see how they go in the finals - if their ability to run from behind is taken away and they're forced into an arm wrestle then would be interesting.

Side note - chips and gravy at Units were very very good but took half a quarter to make a piss ant serving for the cost WTF! Young lad in the canteen was very friendly though, and good customer service. Wide range of options in the canteen - perhaps trim it down and focus on doing a few things well and in quick time, rather than trying to do everything.

Still A grade footballers for their clubs.. don’t need ability to have a work rate.
