considering mitchell park are flinders uni are 2 clubs who are "both" requiring the recruitment of at least 35 players each to stay alive
(70 players total to converge to the district)
was wondering if there are any clubs located closer than 2.5kms of each other in the SAAFL

Dunno, what was the question?
But then you look at a club like PNU and they have a 3km exclusion zone around them...literally!
Walkerville 3.0km
Heccies 3.0km
Gaza 3.km.

Without doing the maths my guess is that Glenunga would be the most isolated club? (not named Angle Vale or Trinity Old Scholars that is)

Also, is anything closer than Mitcham and Unley?

9.3km from Trinity to Smiffies.
As a guess, Unley (4.6km) or CBCOC (3.8km) are closest to Glenunga.
Blackwood, on the other hand

I had no idea they were so close
(1.2km for those playing at home)
You'll find that I posted a couple above (PAOC and Uni and PAOC and SPOC) that are closer.

Yeah I saw that, but the parklands/school clubs being so close seems less surprising than ones with bona fide club rooms/"real" clubs
