Here's the place to find your local ANZAC day game. There's a heap of them so you won't have to venture too far.

Actually, it might be easier to list Saturdays games, not as many

D4- Hope Valley v Glenunga at Hope Valley Oval

I believe you're right. My mistake for not including the other sides.

SA Government Regulations for ANZAC Day Sporting Events: The Act covers sport and Two-Up on ANZAC Day. Sporting events held on ANZAC Day are required to comply with SA Government regulations. http://www.recsport.sa.gov.au for more details. The Act allows for the restriction of public sports and entertainment between 5.00am and 12 noon on ANZAC Day. The ANZAC Day restriction applies to an organisation who proposes to, or would normally conduct a major sporting or entertainment event on ANZAC Day.

A major sporting or entertainment event is defined as one in which: Tickets for admission are made available for purchase by a member of the public prior to the holding of the activity; and Tickets for admission are required for entry to the event or activity.

Never said it was illegal, just thought footy clubs would have a bit more respect than that. Play on.

Here is a simple question i would like to know the answer too.

If it isnt a money making exercise to play on the day before 12, then why do it?

IMO people should pay there respect to those that served and gave us the life we enjoy today.

And dont tell me playing a Div 712 game of footy at 10.15 in the morning is paying respect.

Rosewater is one and, for what it's worth, I would prefer no games before midday.
However, I will be paying my respect at Dawn Service, followed by rum and coffee at breakfast and then copious amounts of beer.
