I see the for and againsts.

Agreed, waste of time that they're not eligible - BUT

makes for an interesting count and in most cases might make ineligible player think twice about offending again if he has a medal taken off of him.

Ask Steven Wellington from last year.

Its just a list of the clubs top vote getters.

Nicholas Symons in the top 4 for the hawks. Quality ruckman that should get a gig in the team of the year, although wobble guts needs to work on his goal kicking a little.

The fact remains they have lost Cross, Giuffreda, Reardon, Pawson, Madigan and Johnson-Shroeder from their early season domination and that brings them right back to the pack and very level with Ingle Farm.

Other than Johnson-schroeder, I heard the rest were all training last night

Without incident and lose your points.

Great news for the dogs, but WOW some of those guys have almost missed the whole second half of the season. Broken bits, fractured bits, mental bits, would be a massive gamble to play any of them unless they come back through the ressies, which I have been guilty of doing, sorry to those concerned. :D the fact is it's do or die for the dogs and if those guys are available then selection will be a nightmare. Cross, gun, Pawson, gun, Reardon, gun, Gieffreda and Madigan are top players. We are talking about top echelon boys here and were the reason they were on top early. Interesting.

Wouldn't COMMON SENSE prevail and Ingle Farm host a triple header?? just seems logical, but then again COMMON SENSE and Amateur Leauge in one sentence just doesn't seem right, Amatuer in true sense of the meaning.....

Regardless of what we would like old fullback, West Croydon earned the right for their B's to be with their A's (and hence our B's playing away). If either our A's or B's were good enough recently, we would be together and playing a triple header. It's our own doing, NOT a lack of common sense by the League at all.

In the minds of some the Earth revolves around the Sun, and the Sun revolves around Ingle Farm

I would think only 2 would go straight into the As if their ready to go, the others missed too many weeks.

Sums up CU mind set doesnt it Piglet, taking pot shots at a club whos active in the second week of the finals while they sit on SAAFL sanctions and another year of irrelevance in div 6.. You cant teach an Old Dog New Tricks which is why they will always be a battling club

Clearly that would be Cross and Pawson, that would really suit up your midfield Mr Beefy with Chad Williams and Frank, gives you massive rotation. Can't wait to see the selected team. :)
