Disappointed he chosen not to play but has only trained once and not played a trial game, we will still have 60 plus to pick from this week.

Yeah, Cleggy is a Smithfield junior and an absolute champion of a lad, he was always going to head back, looks like he has a few mates heading there with him from the Owls, former Panther lads too.

On another note, I drove past Mofflin Reserve yesterday and it appeared that the goals are perpendicular to each other, when did this happen?

Michael Gollan and who else?

Anyone know how many players can be played on the bench in the reserves? Have heard 7, is this correct?

If you're having Friday nights off the beers to keep yourself sweet for a 7R or lower game you really got to reassess your priorities.

Only thing I'll say in defence is that playing the early game (particular for C grade playing a triple header) you're fairly likely to still be pissed, taking the co-ordination to new lows.

It does however do wonders for your confidence and pain management (speaking from personal experience).

That might be why we won so many D6 & D6R & Lower Premierships

We were Sober and responsible on Friday nights, might also be the fact we were a A1 club and we had a certain standard from A Grade that flowed all the way down the grades

1980 - 2000

The Club played in 50 Grand Finals for 25 Premierships

D6 & Below 1980 - 2000

30 Grand Finals - 16 Premierships

We must have been doing something right being sober!!!!

Cracking game at St Paul's. New recruit Ben Clark takes a contested grab about 50m out on a 45 degree angle. Siren goes. Casually roosts the ball through the big sticks and Raiders A-grade win by a point, their first win in over 600 days.

Lonsdale went with 25 in the A grade and we went with 21. Apparently an email was sent out last night about it, the night before round 1 and the night after selection lol super organisation if true!
