great publicity for the club and totally unexpected..eddie is the man..we jokingly told him could train thursday night as well if he wanted but he wasnt available because he was helping feed the homeless..legend..

Hope he's going to buy you some new footys to replace the yellow balloons you have

Actually when i was at Kilburn, they had the country lads come train - part of the deal was their country club gave them a brand new footy per player.. you should tell ADL they owe you footys now 8)

could there be an upset on the cards today at Webb Oval?

No not today. Giving up a 40 point start wasn't good but some improving signs again. If we made more of some chances in the last 40 minutes it could have been much closer but unfortunately we weren't good enough...

Liverpool are more chance of winning the EPL and we all know that will never happen

Great to see Co-Captain Andy Read on the ground for the first time this year. Kicked a nice goal which made up for his awful haircut. How relieved must he be that he turned down Broadviews big offer, they could not beat themselves off at the moment.

Kimbo Edwards is an absolute jet and Sammy Abel was also real good. Most of the damage was done in the first and up by about 6 goals at the first change we had them at arms length all day.

The undefeated streak at the Rams Webb remains intact. We will certainly be aiming to protect that.

Surprised but happy to see Lockleys go down. Gives us just a little bit of breathing space at the top of the table. 8)

All the best Growler. Reckon you are paying overs with your comments about our chances today but winners are grinners as they say. Glenunga definately worked hard for the W. When Mitchell was made more accountable and or lost his shit that game was there for the taking. Unfortunately for us we were not good enough on this occasion. Still think Lockleys are the club to beat and I wouldn't be shocked to see BOS up there either.

It was meant to be more of a shot at Liverpool as their supporters shit me to tears. Not so much about the Kookas who I respect as an honest hard working club.

Certainly still anyone's comp in the top 5 for the taking. Just really happy with how we are tracking. Also have strong memories of all the hate, negativity and disrespect we received from certain posters on this site in the pre-season and early in the year.

It's a marathon not a race brother but I'm certainly enjoying the journey and watching some good footy.

Glenunga v Kenilworth has been a rivalry for decades. And some great games. The 2011 GF and 2012 EF in the worst conditions that you'll see on any ground in the SAAFL just to mention. My old man played for both clubs..... Not well! Did kick 9 one day v the blind school apparently.... He does stretch the truth as a few posters on here would know, however that was confirmed today by a neutral.

Today was not the best game you would see in Div 5 but the intensity around the ground ball was excellent.

would imagine 30+ goals in the reserves and 15+ goals in the A's..

congrats to the dolphins yesterday..the best opposition we have played this year and our worst performance in 3 years..we were never in it and the scoreboard flattered us..they can be a real premiership threat based on what i saw yesterday..

Don't think Eddie Betts will be welcomed back, obviously a big distraction!!

Eddie is always welcome and him showing up Tuesday had no role in our loss whatsoever. It isn't an excuse I would even consider thinking about. Players and coaches lose and win games. The rest is white noise.

Lucky I went to the Glenunga game or I reckon I'd be banned for the rest of the season, my only other 2 games, Woody South and yesterday.

I only saw the 2nd and 3rd quarters, in those Lockleys looked flat, CBC seemed to have a never ending supply of loose players all over the ground.
Martinello won nearly (if not all) the ruck contests I saw but I can't recall one going to a team mate.
Handballs continuously missed the target, Lockleys either played from behind or ended up well under the ball, the ground is very big and imo they struggled with it's wide open spaces.
There were patches of good signs but they were few and far between, at least I know with the Dee's it's only a hicup, they'll be back.

He is actually there almost if not every week so that's a 100% no. I love how the media can sensationalise things though. Has also been at Norwood, Glenelg and other clubs.

So your only to happy to contribute your petrol allowance when driving your friend Allan Didak because he is your friend and you pick up your friend in the car and drive him because he is your friend and you talk because you are friends......

But given the opportunity to talk about what happened at a game you were at that might have an actual contribution to something people have a genuine interest in you are an aloof enigma.

Thanks chief, keep up the great work and keep us posted on any information that comes to light regarding your friend Alan Didak.
