The Hawks are now the premiership favourites, going that close to Gaza is a great effort, especially with so many out.

Considering the c's and d's never go up after winning premierships, you ought to win. The A's staying up and not going back to div 3 will be a successful season.

Any somewhat serious trial games coming up? so we can see how teams will fair against each other in the under rated division 2 this year. eg a div2 vs div2 team. Would be great to watch!

Not sure what you mean by full strength. I could name about 7 we had out. And the margin being more like 8 goals, with several being rested during the game also. As said before, you guys would be a shoe in for the premiership if we believe what you said.

BoP it was a first hit out and good competative game. Ins and outs arent a concern neither is the score it can be discussed all day. We were happy in the effort of our young lads and thats all we take from the game. Not sure if RSE is an MFC poster or just saw the game.

I reckon its great that our two clubs have this regular trial, as the clubs have alot of common mates and was a great crowd atmosphere for a trial.

Couldn't agree more with you. Just thought I'd set the record straight.
Thought you boys were quite competitive. Reckon you'll go not too bad this year either.

Heard Modbury played another trial on the weekend against div 3 side Pooraka. Only won by about 10 points? Bit of a contrast to the first weeks trial isn't it? :?

Heard they won by around 20 goals, good signs for the Demons this season and might suprise a few teams despite losing a few players.

What's the go out at Walkerville? Very quiet out of there atm; seems like OnSong may have followed D Fromm to the Hills.
They seem to have a lost a few A graders from last year, but also have a stack of players in! Massively flying under the radar at the moment. They probably should have gone up to D1 after last season, and they had awesome depth with a really strong reserves.

I agree Lutz. I think Uni are also a massive contender this year. They will be very hard to beat home or away.

Lets hope so we don't want a comp being dominated by a cashed up Districts. It could be a very boring comp to watch if it goes accordingly. Some competition would be nice.
