Read my post again. I was talking about the districts board member spruiking and putting unnecessary pressure on the coach.

Like a wager on that marbles?

I think we've recruited very well. Going to be a great forward line

He is under no illusions that he has won nothing yet this year and theyre is bucket loads of blood, sweat and tears to be shed before anyone gets ahead of themselves.

Don't forget the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Am thinking NE could be worried about all the talent at Largs. Sure all the members want success, but everyone knows how good this side is and there is no pressure on Rod. There are some wonderful players who will all have great seasons. Let the season just roll on, and all the talent at Largs can be displayed. Not money$$$$$$ at all NM, just a great club to play at, with a fantastic environment for young players. Am sure you will be following the boys at home games this year NM and become a regular, as you deep down want to watch good football.

With what we have recruited this year I would've thought there would be a little bit of pressure on Rod although the way I've seen him compose himself I think he'll do a fine job. The locals may demand a flag with the recruits though.

Would not be too worried about getting the ball down to the great forward line that is going to be there. The midfield and other players across the centre & half back are just as good, and the on ballers excellent.

All the locals think its in the bag bucks & i bet you think it is aswell?
I think alot of coaches would compose themselves very well given the side Districts have $bought$.
How the players compose themselves is another thing especially if things don't go to plan, the pressure will be really on.
I can see it now a few losses, the hyreichy panicking, thinking of how much $$$ they've spent & wondering whether its all going to blow up in their faces  oh how great would that be seriously

Super side by reading that you should win every game by 20 goals

I'll run with this :)

So Port Districts reckon they will beat every side by twenty goals that is pretty arrogant but probably accurate with the money they are spending.

Am I doing it right? :)

We can bag dissies as much as we want but at the end of the day, we all wish our clubs had the money to do what they have done putting this side together, and if you have it why not use it on getting quality footballers to the club. i would love for my club to go out and get a Jeremy Johncock to play for us but it aint going to happen

Great TEAMS win footy games not great individuals!!! I was taught that in under 8's. Not weighing in but it will be interesting to see how they all play together. Maybe not enough room on the ground for all of them. ;)

Looking forward to playing them in a trial on March 31st to see how they will shape up :)

I have researched and spoken to all my sources and my spies tell me that game wont be at Gaza. Would you mind giving the details for that game as it will be very interesting to see the 2011 Div 1 premiers facing the 2012 Div 2 Premiers ;)

To be honest, I am not sure where that one is being held yet, can tell you it definitely won't be at Gaza though!
And before everyone gets too excited about districts, we won't be letting them beat us by 20 goals if we can help it ;)
Believe either Thebby depending on negotiations or at Districts.
And bad luck to the Na fiana boys on Sunday wristy, so so close in a great game.

Would you be happy as a player when you are offered decent money but are not in the A grade side and playing B grade when the point allocation comes into play? Unless you are getting paid to play in b grade (which ive never heard of). Can open promises be broken in this regard? Just a question as i dont know how that would work. I know i would not be too impressed if that was the case (was never good enough to get offered coin, i did it for the love of the club plus all my injuries woudl take the clubs insurance premiums through the roof ;) ). Its all well and good to offer people all this gear, money and not get picked in the ones because of the points system and not due to form etc. Not taking the pi$$, hell it would be a great position to be in. Who wouldnt like to be in that place.
