If they don't do it seriously why do it at all?

Super pumped for my boy Hughy Johnson-Schroeder leading the ruck in the team of the week, super effort from a hard working bloke, even if his club doesnt recognise his efforts im glad someone finally has!

4 rosewater players in a 48 point loss! Mmm... Interesting choice.

I've always believed he was rosewaters best ruckman and with jared schar out he finally gets his shot.
Seems he's taken it with both hands.

They would've played Brahma last year ;)

I think a lot of todays scores are raising the old eyebrows...

Elizabeth certainly lived up to their reputation yesterday. Dishing out plenty of cheap/weak shots and off the ball hits. Good to see thugs don't win footy matches!

Do Elizabeth still have a few out injured or are they starting to filter back in? They looked to have improved their list from last year which is why im surprised to see them sitting 2-3 after 5 rounds.

Pultney pushed us yesterday and while the score blew out a bit in the last quarter they played 3 quarters of really tough competitive footy. Was told they only have 4 players over 21 playing in the A's yesterday so you'd think they (like woody south) will improve during the year.

Reputation? I must've played against Elizabeth at least 20 times in my career and they definitely don't fit into that category, I would think even less likely to with Payney at the helm.
I guess they could add Lutheran to their name and get a free ride each week.

We certainly didnt have any troubles with them last year from what im told. From whats been written and what ive seen on here its been a pretty clean division with clubs more interested in playing the footy than the man.

Looking forward to greenies this week for ladies day at CLG, hopefully we can get a big crowd out to support the boys. another good test for us in what is going to be an overall pretty even division. 4-1 and outright second always looks better than 3-2 and back with the pack after 5 rounds!

Well, part of it is usually based on changing postcodes. You've made a start.
