Yes Haythorp played really well again and my brother watched a half and said Rowey would of had 15 handball receives. He's a great pick up.

Not sure the scores but Kenilworth got a touch up on Saturday against Mitcham. Mitcham running away with it in the last quarter.

A lot of their players had already played 3 quarters against our B's & C's, then had to play another 3 against our fresh A grade!

Having said that, if Kenilworth are the pace setters in Div 4 as I've read, they must have been missing a few guys...

Probs here a couple of pages back.

Kenilworth will be hard to beat this year. a lot of in and a new coach. If they can use their big ground to their advantage they will run teams off their feet.
Top 5 are very strong teams this year, with Westminster being a big danger throughout the year.

Eastern Park will struggle this year, depth and fitness is a big concern there i would say

After two trials, I have no idea where we'll be situated in either grade. Impossible to tell when you aren't playing the teams in your division.

I don't know how Greenies or Barossa would rank against the current Divvy 4 sides.

Everything on here, until regular season games have been played, is really just uneducated speculation.

All I know for sure is TDK is a back pocket specialist.

Why do people always fall in the trap of the results in trial games they mean very little as side's always have players out or try players in new positions etc dont be foolish and naive!

By what I have been told the kooks were missing some players due to cricket finals...

that's right - I don't know why they do. Every side has players out in trials for cricket I'd say.

Maybe because there is nothing else to talk about at this time of year.

as a player trial games mean a bit playing for a spot or trying to keep a spot...... going by what you people say why even play trials then they mean nothing

They mean nothing, as in, the result does not have any significance on where a team will finish on the ladder, or how they will perform during the season.

The result means nothing but trials are important for structures fitness game plans gelling new player's etc but if you soley judge a team on trial results then your in trouble!
