On one hand, that wouldn't surprise me with all the new recruits they've picked up.

However, the only reason I believe you may be telling porkys is that Walkerville Oval wouldn't fit 186 people  ;)

Could you go into more detail here? Names?

Think everyone is takin' the p......s out of each other FF. Closest one to the mark is Flinders Pk but it includes their 80 odd under 18's.

Spoke to a senior Flinders Park member on weekend and said they have had about 55 on the track and its been pretty hard. Also hear that Walkerville have been doing a lot of cross fit training with ben at crossfit adelaide, tells me they are doing some very tough sessions. Would suggest this will defiantely help them with their fitness

My mate who has just joined Flinders Park told me they get about 30-60 blokes out on the track each night.

Have heard that Thebarton Oval has been made off limits for all trial games due to upgrading the lights (apparently). Many trials were already organised to occur, I'm guessing this would cause a fair bit of disruption to a lot of clubs preparation with so many grounds still off limits due to upgrades, cricket, baseball, etc.

Port District v Portland in R2. A triple header I was told this morning. Could be interesting for Portland, to see if they can get close at any stage during the day, in any of the 3 games.

I think both clubs would happily go down in the first two games to get a win in the A's. The A grade result will settle the battle not B & C Grade

Can't see there being much of a battle in the A's. Should be one way traffic and a bit of a yawn really. Might have to wake the crowd up at the end I think.

Yeah a bit of a chnage to what we first thopught the schedule was going to be. Great way to start the season off though. Big atmosphere two great local clubs, a great rivalry and a triple header to boot. Really looking forward to this year. Should be a great one for all involved.

You and your mates are the ones that drag me there n ask for free drinks all night. Won't rule it out. I'm sure you'll be keen for a few, Dicko can give us a ride to the game on his gofer.

Maybe the two of you will become members at Port District then after all NM, if not at Portland. Will be great to see you each week at the games, supporting the lads at Districts. Give it a few weeks NM and you will be working the BBQ for the lads, drinking with the members and even a Largs Legend, with all your old buddies.
