Why would you bother playing him in round 1 if he is not going to be playing there for the rest of the year.

Why would you bother playing him in round 1 if he is not going to be playing there for the rest of the year.
Obviously has been a great servant of the club and thats the way they are wishing to thank him im guessing.

That is correct, great bloke and TTG will miss him massively (although Kells helps cover in the FWD).

I think the TTG footy clubs cricket side will miss him more, the 700+ runs he has made is a big reason they are top of the ladder & looking at back to back flags
