Matthew Brincat get his 9th best and fairest for BOSFC. Two medals and 10 year captain. Struggle to find a better player over 10 plus years in div 5-6?

Great player. Probably 2nd to Jake Mazzone over that period and Nick Chesser in a similar conversation also.

He’s won 2- I think 7+ top 10 finishes. Also had 2 knee reconstructions in the same period. Mazzone absolutely- but has been there for the same length of time? Cat involved in premierships in 2014.

We’ll yeah apparently his got his knickers in a knot about not finishing well in his clubs best and fairest, didn’t get a top 3 even and claims he was the number 1 to a lot of people
So a little bit sour over individual accolades after thinking he was running the show as a director and was gonna be a contender for the count, apparently the reason his saying cya later but bit of an Exodus at EP I reckon

Mazzone has been as far as I'm aware. At least when in Adelaide. Played juniors at Hectorville as well. 3 A grade premierships. Hard to beat 9 B&F's though, especially with association medals as well.

Chesser yes and a Kenilworth Junior. 7 x B&F and also an association medalist. The only reason why he doesn’t have more association medals is probably because he played in the same sides as Blake Moser and JWK throughout the last 10-11 years.

All 3 mentioned are seriously good footballers and very consistent. Also probably a couple others in that same category over the majority of the last 10 years however they are no longer playing (A grade at least).

You can add the greatest smother of all time to his resume as well. In the 2007 qualifying final Jacob Olsen marked in the goal square and played on which would have put Hectorville in front late in the game but the Cat came from nowhere to smother his kick and save the game! :D
