At least it hasn't been over for 3 weeks. There's always a strange vibe around the place on Thursday evening before a GF, it gets worse on the Friday, do you have a couple of cans, do you organise a team catch up and then you try to sleep but only have pre-replays of what could happen the following day.
Saviour the moment mate, you've been a credit to yourself and your club, you'll have a million thoughts going on in that vacuum that you call a head, it's all up to the footy gods now and hopefully things fall your way.

@Zartan

Where's my frggin like?????????????

After Round 7.. interesting to read back, I suspect can expect to see plenty of this style football Saturday..

Oh and this bold prediction from the start of May looks like it may come to fruition!

Smithfield home! Good game!

I had twiggy as best. And also the scariest footballer I've ever seen.

Indeed it was. Houghton '06 and Golden Grove '07. Critical mark by Mighty in the third quarter in '07 and the lads never looked back after that.

Fit. Strong. Fierce... Hungry...

Congrats to TOS in the B grade, very deserving winners!
Well coached, very disciplined and played hard to the end.. Well done to human_torpedo - first premiership coach at TOS and well deserved... Mad respect - don't want to sound arrogant but you reminded me like me this year you're determined and thorough, you research and work out sides and you arrange your side accordingly and you're super prepared.. You should be so proud of what you accomplished, I can't help but be in awe of what you accomplished.

To my lads... We exceeded expectations, simple as that, was always going to be tough to back it up a 4th week in a row.

Smithfield well done too - exposed a few flaws in the Lockleys game plan - a few flaws they'll need to iron out before next season but I'm confident they can.. Hope Smithfield can sign their lads back up quick smart - they'll need them next season.. The brother boys were outstanding today - Wangas, Mick Lane, Joel Calyun, Juane Gray

Hi all, we'll do our best to send official correspondence through the right channels during the week. But in the mean time i'd just like to say all four clubs were exemplary guests at the PNU footy club today and were very well represented by their coaches, players, members and supporters. I did every job there was today and apart from a very very tiny minority everyone was a pleasure to deal with and I'm beyond impressed with the professionalism and people involved with all four clubs

Thanks Zartan. Like I said to you lads after the game, it was a super effort just to be there yesterday, winning 3 away finals and just about under dog in all of them..

Couldn't be more proud of how my lads went about it yesterday, our pressure and tackling was at another level and that set the tone from the start. Had we kicked straight we may have put it away earlier but luckily it didnt come back to haunt us in the end..

In the A grade Smithfield turned around the semi final resukt in a way I didnt expect. Over ran Lockleys when I thought it would be the other way round when even at 3 qtr time.. Both sides missed opportunities all day but in the end Smithfield created enough to win it.. Even got to celebrate twice after the air horn went off a minute early and everyone thought it was the siren..

Been asked a stack of times what the standard was like.

I reckon both sides were comfortably 10 goal better sides than Houghton and 15 better than us.

Tis still a huge gap me thinks.

You definitely can't expect to go up and do well without adding a couple of decent recruits.

You are comparing yourself to the best 2 sides though.. We finished 4th and were 100 points behind the 3rd side who was 6 goal behind those 2.. You might not be that far off.. Those 2 sides were streets ahead of the rest this year, with only WC being competitive against them.. Outside the top 3 its an even comp
