well done to broadies. 7 goal to 1 ist quarter set up a fantastic win for scott leal and his players. premiership in his first year at tigerland, wonder if the knocker (forward) will come on and congratulate leal newberry etc or will just ride off into the sunset. thought pnu had a real dip all day, but couldnt convert with ample opportunities in the 2nd quarter, to get back into it by half time

hard to know reckon both would need half a doz good players.havent seen div 1 for 3 years so bit hard to guage. both would find recruiting a bit easier getting back to the top div . but both would be competitive with middle of the road sides . broadies off field structures have really improved, going back a grade really shook the place up and today is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of good people

A lot of todays win is attribute to the saviour Pete Godrick
He baled you guys out once
If they pay him back......will there be any money to recruit for next year ?????
Estimate with coach upwards of 80k and will need more next year
Well done to Leal, 1 out of 4
I will ride of into the sunset and even may next year come watch a A6 game, i havent seen one of those games ever....would be good to have a look

Congratulations to Broadies on their effort, a great result for the club and as said by TT, a reward for hard work by a lot of people. The way they presented all of their people yesterday was a credit to the club, all suited up for the occasion in black & gold.
Next season, we can resume our challenges for the Stephen Ford Memorial cup, something that would make him very happy.

Hey Ace, Looking forward to renewing our local derbies next year. Games against Gepps & Gaza are always great games.
also looking forward to those great games against Port Districts with both sides having big past players associations.

PNU were the best side we have played all year and their runners were of concern to us going to the GF as they touched us up badly in Rd17 this year at home and pushed us all the way in the Second Semi but that great first quarter start was something that we could have only dreamed of and U/18 Tommy Schlickers checkside Goal of the Year on the run deep in the pocket late in the last quarter was awesome.

To the players and those involved a job well done. Lets enjoy the occasion as we know prepare for our re-entry in D1

To "Forward" off to the sunset you go. Way off tangent with your comments as you obviously you know nothing about our club or set up and are nothing more than a "GRUB" on society

To all of those who bagged Scotty and the players as Chokers and too Old and Slow I only have two words you

SUCK IT
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

i must congratulate broadies on the win yesterday. they smashed us in the opening quarter, and then managed to play the smarter football for the rest of the game and controlled the tempo to what suited them.
hornhart on the wing again carved us up again. not sure if they give a bog medal, but i reckon he would've had it.

Great effort to Scotty and the boys on their premiership. Its well deserved. Scott has done the hard yards, I really hope he stops and savours it for a while, before he gets onto Div 1, which is obviously a big step up. He's a pretty driven guy, just soak it up for a while. Will Squire and Wintle go on do you think, or even Scott, always looked a little restless when he had to coach from the sidelines at Freeling.?
Congratulations

Can anyone else give us a run down on both teams and a match report?
