Elizabeth hosting Fitzroy with the loser a chance to fall out of the top 5. Fitzroy start favourites for mine after a encouraging performance last weekend. They were in front of the unbeaten Pulteney into the last quarter and just weren't able to hang on but they should take a huge amount of confidence into this weekend.
Brahma Lodge taking on TOS also looms as a massive game in the context of the season. TOS have shown their best is good enough to beat anyone but they have been a little inconsistent throughout the year. The same can be said for their opponents this weekend Brahma would be really disappointed with the result last weekend and if they don't bring the heat at the contest this weekend they could find themselves out the 5.
Tend to agree with you oldman might be the first person ever to do so but Fitzroy will get the win over Elizabeth if they play like they did against Pulteney . There backline stood up with the amount of forward entries Pulteney had while Nicholson/Giddings didn't have much of an impact.
If Trinity are to make the finals by the end of the minor rounds then they need to win against a top 5 side away from home . There only wins away were against the struggling West Croydon who have lost their last 6 games & the Division 7 bound Houghton. Dot point number 1 stop Darrell McIntyre. The last time Trinity & Brahma went head 2 head he kicked 7 and brahma went on to win by 22 points. Ingle Farm managed to keep him scoreless for the first time this year. How did you stop the goal kicking machine Zartan?
