Fitzroy were the preseason flag favourites and after this weekend might be the new mid year flag favourites in the A's.
Elizabeth clearly the standout team at the halfway mark in the magoos

So when you beat them by 15+ goals, will that be considered a memorable victory/upset for you guys? Where will that win rank among the other 9 so far?

Question.. how many clubs have had players clearances denied because they're classed as a "required player"?

We had a young lad come out from Broadview last month to play with his mates, after playing C grade at Broadies in recent years (only 2x games this year) and had his clearance denied because apparently despite being a C grade, and not being a paid or contracted player he's a required player

Required to play half back flank in the C's.

Considering where Broadies are at, he may be required to play A Grade

Interesting, seems my original comment must have been deleted. Not sure why as people name a lot of people on here personally (e.g. Pulteney and Trinity umpires) and its play on.. anyway Zartan - it's a common theme Broadview have done for many years now.

Ingle Farm and Fitzroy are definitely building they are major threats in the back end of the season. Both have some seriously good footballers and are going to give Pulteney some headaches.

What's going on at Elizabeth 4 losses in a row they have fallen off the wagon.

Yeah happy to owe it and say I was wrong. Did not think Houghton would lose, didn't think they were as bad as results have shown.

Well done to Mawson Lakes, hope they can rebuild in D7 next year - it's a hard demographic for them to build a strong club in.

Interesting, Lakes lost by a point to Westies before the bye, Westies beat West Croydon.. are Lakes a chance of collecting some more scalps?

For once I agree with your down play. I think Roy's have all the tools, and Ingle Farm are finally beginning to get a full compliment of players available.

Major threats - maybe.. Major favourite - still Pulteney

Houghton could do worse than give Hendo the A grade gig next year.. reckon he's the best fit for the job.
