Very poor, but expected. Well done Admin.
I don't think anyone from IF has commented to now. And i won't be saying any more as the 2 people who were not at the game seem to have it covered.

Funny that their A's & B's have bye and they still cant get enough players. Maybe they just shut the club for the week

I'm assuming you can't drop players when your club has the bye....?

Wouldn't have thought you can play cgrade if you played A or Bgrade the week before and then have the bye.

Its a bit of a grey area. I think you'll find that you can in fact do it

Hmmm, i've probably missed something but this is all I could find:

17 DIVISION 1 & 2 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
17.1 A player who played in a Division 2 or below match in the first minor round of matches of The League’s season (with the exception of Under 18 Divisions) shall not play in Divisions 1 and 1 Reserves in the following week’s first minor round of matches of these Divisions.
17.2 A player who played in a Division 1, Division 2, Division 1 Reserves or Division 2 Reserves match preceding the stand alone Division 1, Division 2, Division 1 Reserves and Division 2 Reserves bye shall not play in a match in any Division of The League in the following bye round unless the player has played the majority of their matches in the current season in the lower Division (with the exception of Under 18 Divisions).

This is the only mention of not being able to play up and down

So effectively the entire Ingle Farm A Grade could play for their C Grade this week

Which poses the question.....Can a D6 side beat a C4 side ;)

A cynic might wonder if these two things are related.

This happened a couple of years ago when we played Gepps Cross in the D grade. They had a handful of players thumping blokes and getting reported so they forfeited games to risk any further club sanctions.

Salisbury West pulled their whole C Grade a few years ago due to this. (funny how the same names keep getting pulled up)

C4 has probably never had this much interest

Perhaps best to just leave it for what it is - a forfeit - instead of speculating reasons etc. and suddenly rumours and innuendo grow from nothing..

... remember if its on SAFooty - it must be true :D

Ingle Farm
Rosewater
Gepps Cross
Salisbury West

Geez there are some **** wits that play footy. This is the lowest grade you can play in Adelaide at senior level but there are still imbeciles who assault, threaten and just ruin the concept of genuine C grade footy which is realistically a laid back however friendly, competitive competition.

There are those throughout all grades of football in this state.

I think the point Kooka was making is the fact that C4 is basically the lowest level of footy where a score is kept. Therefore hardly playing for sheep stations, Yet this sort of thing happens.

Who cares about them, the real question is can Heccies knock off Pulteney this week? Also CBC v Rosewater looks a cracker 4th vs 5th and with Modbury (6th) playing Para Hills (7th) both just a win behind, neither can afford a loss! 8)
