I see Mitchell Sandery has retired from South Adelaide in the SANFL. I wonder if that means he may be suiting up for TTG next season? Would be a extremely handy inclusion. Doubt he would cost any points either as he played his juniors out at TTG i believe.

Really surprises me Johncock didn't return to the Sharks in A1's where he has alot of mates & i know he really enjoyed his footy but it clearly shows $$$$$ change peoples mindset.

believe so on the Byrnes,

and yeah on Walsh, PAC informed the powers that be at UNI that they were going to talk too Walsh so should be much of an issue. below is from the club on the FB page. personally njot sure if he is playing. sure we'll find out sooner or later.

"The Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of former Melbourne Demons and Port Power player Peter Walsh to the role of A Grade Coach for the 2012 season.

Peter was drafted onto the Melbourne Demons rookie list in 1998 and was elevated to the senior list for the 1999 season. In 2000 he played in the losing AFL Grand Final against Essendon and hit career best form in 2001 highlighted by h...is 11 votes in the Brownlow Medal. He finished with Melbourne after the 2004 season, playing 104 games.

Traded to Port Power for the 2005 season, Peter added a further 35 games to his tally to finish on 139 AFL games. He retired at the conclusion of the 2006 season and went back to West Adelaide in the SANFL. His time at West Adelaide also involved a coaching role with the U18 side.

Needless to say, we are extremely pleased to have an individual of Peter’s experience on board leading the Club into the 2012 season.

We will shortly be extending an invitation to Club players, sponsors and supporters to a Meet the Coach evening at the Alma Tavern. The evening is mainly targeted at the playing group with Peter to outline his plan for the 2012 season."

Id be more worried about T. Payne and Rogan signing up for Athelstone rather than South Augusta.
