Hopefully PAOC have filled in the holes that made a game 45 mins late last time we played at Park 9.

The 'facilities' at Para Hills are fine. Change-rooms a reasonable size, oval is OK when Salisbury Council are not spending all week alongside the railway track, atmosphere is good, hospitality is good even though Geoff Heard & his boys show no respect........

Just out of curiosity, what rock have you crawled out from under Lazarus (with your vast knowledge)?

thanks for that big guy, any other one-liner's you want to throw out there?? still haven't heard back what blokes we're importing into the club??

as has been said a million times on here, PAOC dont own park 9 and so our set-up is below par, we know! get over it!
but in saying that the ground was in very good knick all year this year.

If you didnt know woody sth are not in div 3 anymore.anyway as long as the ground has grass who really cares about changerooms unless you play footy in them.

Sorry, take out Woodies and whack in Iggies dungeon. Haven't been there but I hear CBOC is terrible too.

Depends what you want in life

My team: Crappy changerooms, but 53 wins over 3 teams:

Your team: Lovely club and changerooms but 1 win (C Grade) over 3 teams, and:

Maybe they are pampering you too much with the new gym, spa and 4 star restaurant......

(Sorry - had to edit it to include the wins in the finals)

Both CBC and PAOC facilities were fine this year as are most. (compared to our anyway...) I think when you start worrying about the changerooms, oval, goal post pads, canteen etc your mind aint really on it and you're clutching for excuses....

Choccies,
You need to worry about a few of those listed as fines apply if they're not up to scratch, that can be costly.

No mate, I'm talking about every team, the "fine police" love shabby goal post covers and potholes in ovals.
We played at Largs reserve this year and at one end of the centre wicket area there was a hole big enough to bury a "dwarf".
They got upset when I asked them to fill the hole in and the B grade ump wouldn't start the game until it was fixed.
Very easy to turn or break an ankle or shag a knee with holes no matter how wide or deep.

Yeah that's fair enough and I understand all that... but I think other ovals this year were far worse than CBC and PAOC... That's all I was saying.

You can start bragging Jimmy when your club wins something higher than 2 div 3 premierships over 100 odd years.

Huge comeback Jimmy, now that's worth a bonus point too if ever a comment was plus it could be the winning blow!

Lazarus, you're going to have to do much better than that.
Jimmy has you in a "stepover toe hold" at the moment and you are struggling and bringing out the old chestnuts won't peg back his lead.
Originals might work though!

**** me dead Aceman! You are not the judge of who is winning. Your comments are irrelevant, much like yourself.

Bottom line is I haven't played in a senior premiership. Jimmy might have played in a couple of B grade ones, I don't really know.

PAOC has won premierships in div 4, div 3 and div 2(most of these were when div 3 and div 2 were the lowest grades in the SAAFL). I don't think I'll bother comparing this to Kilburn.

PAOC won div 4 last year, we came last in div 2 last year. Even stevens this year in div 3.

Jimmy had to leave Pembroke because no-one would stick up for him in a fight. I haven't had this problem yet.

Those are the facts, draw your own conclusions.

Full of $hit as usual Shrek. I didn’t have to leave anywhere - nobody would want to fight you anyway. They wouldn’t want you off the field for a moment. "I haven't had this problem yet." WTF - half your side walked out on you this year and a couple had a bit to say about you.
