Any trip down south has to pass through Belair Fine Wines to make purchases from their Great Wall of Beer

As we approach the business end of the season our A grade still clings on with a chance of making the finals and it starts this weekend against Mawson Lakes. The Lakers have the wood against our A grade for a while now and what a perfect opportunity to end that and their finals chances by knocking them off. It's going to take our best 4 quarters of footy to do it. But I believe we can. Carn you Raiders!!!

Sorry to be a negative nancy, but your A grade is shot.

Even if you manage to win all your remaining 3 games - all 3 that are tough, and against higher ranked sides - you'd need a lot of results to go your way, and there are a number of soft finishes to the season for higher sides.

Hypothetically speaking, if everything went to plan and you finished on 20 points, you'll at best finish on equal points with ML & TTG - but you're 5% behind Gullies, and that's a huge gap to make up in 3 games, especially with them finishing home vs Mitchell Park.

What you say Bedgie might be true. But if there is a chance then we can only hope things go our way. And it starts this Saturday. Having Cam back makes a big difference though.

Oh i'm by no means trying to suggest you give up on your season - just be honest with yourselves and don't dream the dream.. live the reality ;)

Cam back is huge, he's a gun.. if he could play a full bloody season your results would be much different!

Totally agree with ya there. In no means am I saying that we have our hopes up. One game at a time. But we do need to win all 3 and rely on other results. Just this Saturday is the first hurdle to jump over. And it's gonna be a challenge as the Lakers have the wood on us for a while. We really need to have our skills on and keep the ball away from O'Gorman and Kennett as both of them destroyed us last time we met.
Cam is unbelievably awesome and getting a full season from him would greatly benefit us. Especially in the midfield. I think our skill level this year has let us down dramatically.

From what I saw of ML last week you should knock them off.

Huge day down at the Den coming up this week.

Top of the table clash, Sullies past players day where we will be wearing the Heritage O’Sullivan Beach FC guernsey’s. Sullies favourite son Trev Rigney sitting on 96 is sure to draw a crowd. Here’s hoping he can reach the magical ton and deliver a trademark hanger or 2 for good measure!

Another good win for our reserves on Saturday. We were challenged at parts of the game. But overall I believe we controlled the game and it was awesome to get another win and continue our run into the finals. Unfortunately we weren't as lucky in the A's and the A's season has been played out by missed opportunities and poor skill levels. With the inclusion of a lot of new blokes into our A grade and getting used to the way we all play. Hopefully 2019 will be a better year.
This week we face TTG which will be another tight and hard fought contest. Another pre finals hitout. Got plenty of blokes coming back this Saturday so this game will give us an idea of how we are going to prepare come finals. Can't wait. Go Raiders!!!!!!
