Blame the guy who puts your scores into the system then, he's the one who entered it like that ;)

Chris Pike, old biddy getting sloppy in her old age lol - she stuffed up the B grade last week too

Maybe we did enter what was on the sheet FC. ;)

Oh, I see what you did there

That's allot of wasted time. A spare ball at each end makes sense. Let's have a vote?

a lot of time is wasted whilst the opposition have the ball as well..get rid of them and then you can just pile the goals on like a training drill.. 8)

Much like last year's gf

Shame they don't get the chance of a rematch this year because they stayed in div 5..

Ingle Farm very busy lately on the recruitung front. Is it top end talent or just more depth for the club?

Noticed Brandon Rigney has put a clearance back through to Ingle Farm. He was an absolute superstar as a Junior, just had some issues controlling his temper.

Have to keep recruiting and topping up the playing list just to cover the growing A grade injury list to make sure we can field 3 competive sides. :YMSIGH:

Do many clubs in this div play with maximum points each week? Was looking at our team sheet tonight and realised we play with 0 points.

Hahaha  this is funny stuff. Good one mate. How on earth would a div 6 club use all their points. There wouldn't be many if any AFL or recent SANFL players leaving their leagues to join div 6

AFL and SANFL players aren't the only players who carry points.

Yeah but they carry big points.
I guess if you ain't got juniors you could still use lots of points and be an average footy club.

Yes but a country player is 3 points as are SANFL reserves players. Some clubs don't have a $75,000 war chest to pay a coach and some players to keep themselves out of this division.

No club in the lower divisions has that. More time working on the junior programs is the way to build a club. See TTG, Modbury, PNU, Goodwood as a few examples on sustained success

You can check this one the leagues webpage under results and looking at last weeks games was the following

Brahma Lodge 14 Points
Pultney 10 Points
Fitzroy 14 Points
West Croydon 8
Trinity 2
Houghton 2
Lakes 1
Elizabeth, Ingle Farm and Salisbury West 0

Week before Fitzroy played on 15, Pultney 13, Lodge 13 West Croydon 8

Funny thing is Salisbury West beat Lodge and West used 0 Points and Lodge used 13

Points don't mean stuff all, club recruits 3x A Graders year one, that's 9 points, recruit another 3X A Graders year two and retain the original 3, that's 15 points right there.

Then you might get the odd person who moves nearby from the country or interstate, maybe a player brings out a mate, odd player jumps ship somewhere closer to home.. doesn't take much.

Points don't necessarily = $$.. Maybe they do for Glenunga, but don't think every club operates with the same model.

Hard for the Lodge to negate points without a solid junior program, they'd be hard pushed to get one going with so many neighbouring clubs well established, same goes for Mawson's, despite being the largest suburb in metropolitan Adelaide there doesn't seen to be a lot of children in the 6 to 16 year old bracket around.

Should be a system where if you live within 5 or 10 km's from your club you should incur zero points.
