Have PNU assembled a bit of a power house D grade this year? we played their C grade and saturday, good blokes but they didnt seem to have a huge amount of ready made players to step into Div 1 reserves if called upon.

Don't think it's deliberate, they do have some handy players though - Wielechowski, Weidenbach, Dave Aston - then add a couple of older experienced heads, and a few young 18/19 year old kids, it's a bloody good side for C6!

yeah, i forget they are C6.. when they come up against our E grade it would be a real mish mash of blokes just learning the game and a few older heads, so i can see how they could have some healthy score lines.

Does anyone understand the system that they are using for the forfeits in C5 for games against Rosewater? Sides are getting scores registered that are not the normal ten goal win?

Can someone smarter than me tell me why there is a C1 and C6 game at Payneham Oval on Saturday, with the C1 Game being a 10 am start and the C6 game being a 2 pm start with nothing in the middle?

I'm pretty certain I'm not smarter than you  but I am smart enough to know that times can be changed from those scheduled if both clubs agree ;)

Alternatively anyone from Modbury keen at playing at 12:15?

3 Times 25-20 (170) that's unusual and 4 times in a row exactly losing by 170 points??

Think you'll find it's their average losing margin - Bad luck that their first two games were against the competition leaders.

Seems like the only fair way to do it. That. % might just be enough for a side to sneak into the five.

Having seen the uni side Saturday so far they are a huge cut above the rest, this was the same side that played C3'last season I believe? We had a heap of outs but that wasn't reason for the result maybe more the margin, that's without seein HV yet though. Being the only real D grade side in this comp has its challenges when the club gets hit with injuries but to be 6-1 at this point we're comfortable in this division.

Mostly the same side but with some players from above eg c1 and other grades. They'll be around the mark.

Without seeing Hope Valley I would say UNI are going in favs here - they are too good for this division but its happened before with sides being placed in lower comps and they still dont win the flag. These two seem to be a fair way in front of the rest of us in this comp.

Congrats to Wayne King on his 300th game for The Blacks in c1 tomorrow. One of about 6 or so players do achieve this in the club's 110 year history.

As the song the club sings about him " what were his parents thinking?" However
