How is 3rd v 6th better than 4th (Trinity) v 1st (Ingle Farm). Expect TOS v Ingle Farm to be a very close contest. Should be a cracker

Ingle Farm would be starting firm favourites I would think..

Thought I'd seen most things in a football game...until Nick Leck went for an attempted atomic wedgie of one of our players during a tackle and ripped his jocks clean off, leaving him and I laughing at his fistful of red underpant.

CLG's B grade side was pretty good on the weekend. Had a couple of blokes worth points playing in their B's which probably helps

Our club has played in nearly every div over the past 5 years and I think the premiers of a B grade comp would be very competitive (top half) in an A grade comp 2 divs below and would back the B grade premiers to win an A grade flag 3 divs below

How it isn't an automatic ban for anyone who brings this subject up is beyond me

....but you haven't played in Div 6. Recent history shows you have to be a very good side to win a premiership in Div 6 and all of the teams that have been promoted give good accounts of themselves in Div 5. The grand finalists over the past 3 years are;
2015 Smithfield v Lockleys (both unbeaten in Div 5)
2014 Blackfriars v Rosewater (Blackfriars 3rd and Rosewater 6th following year in Div 5)
2013 Westminster v CLG (WOS premiers and CLG 3rd following year)
A 3R or 4R side might be competitive against some of the poorer performing Div 6 sides, but seriously let's not think they could beat the top sides. The Blackfriars Div 6 from 2014 was sensational and no 3R or 4R side would have got near them.

wholeheartedly agree. While our B grade has been successful at both div 6 and div 5 level over the last 3 years. It's ridiculous to say that we would get within a bulls roar of a Brahma Lodge or Ingle Farm this year. Even knocking off a Houghton or Salisbury West would be highly unlikely IMO.

PAOC and Unley are C grade sides and they are knocking off A grade teams currently in Div 7

There may not be a huge separation from Div 5 and Div 6, but I don't think you appreciate the strength and depth of the strong clubs in the 2s and 3s.

I don't know much about the div 6 clubs, but I do know clubs in Div 4 and 5 and they would really struggle against reserve sides from slightly higher up. Say Pembroke have the best Div 3R , I think they would beat, or at least be super competitive with a Glenunga or Pulteney in Div 5 and beat top sides in Div 6.

PAC and our C grades would probably take some games of clubs in Div 6 given there results so far in Div 7. PACs 2s last in Div2R would have had a serious game with Salisbury in Div 4.

Exactly. They are winning by a lot too. PAC C grade would be very competitive in Div 6

I'm sorry this hits a nerve with you and and others in DIv 6... but that's not what I said....LOL.

The Div 4R premier would be very competitive in Div 6.
I would back the Div3R premier to win Div 6.

Sorry I misinterpreted - I took 2's and 3's as D2 and D3 - not B and C grade..

I don't think a C-Grade of a Div 1 club has ever played finals in D6.

So the statement "The Div 4R premier would be very competitive in Div 6" is massive stretch of the imagination.
