Ladder after Rd 8
14 - Fitzroy
12 - Rosewater
10 - Blackfriars
10 - St Pauls OS
08 - Ingle Farm
--------------------
08 - OSB Lonsdale
08 - Para Hills
08 - Houghton
02 - Adel Lutheran
00 - West Croydon

Frustratingly tight division.. just when you think a side is settling into some form, something happens! Fitzroy too good for a disappointing Ingle Farm on the weekend has the Roys well clear on top, and the Farmers teetering on the edge of the 5. Rosewater continue to go on their merry way, and BOS doing enough to be there when the whips are cracking, even without Brincat.

St Pauls leapfrog Ingle Farm again also.

Round 9:
Houghton vs Blackfriars: The Raiders play their ground well, and Cam in the ruck should give them first use. Think they'll be hard to stop.
West Croydon vs Fitzroy: One way traffic, percentage builder, Doolan to kick 12.
Para Hills vs St Pauls OS: This will be a beauty, can the Roos bounce back? Will St Pauls continue their merry way?
Ingle Farm vs Rosewater: Depends what Ingle Farm side turns up Saturday.. but at our best, I think we can knock em off.. but at this stage advantage Rosewater.
Adel Lutheran vs OSB Lonsdale: Sullies should win this, but if Luthies were to ever claim a scalp, it could be here...

Fair goal from Rigney on the weekend. 6 bounces and dodged around a few in the process

Was enjoyable to watch live, important goal gave us a bit of hope midway through the last, but then Doolan banged on 3 late ones to blow out the lead to 25pts.

Kudo's to our ruckman Richter too who worked hard to block the oppo trying to give chase.

Not sure how you can have anything left in the legs after that many bounces to be able to kick the ball. Good effort.

Lines should’ve been cleaned.. if it was no good - did you say anything??

Sadly good staff hard to find lately and the newer ladies don’t do it, or don’t do it properly.. needs to be raised.

I’ll look into it. I’m off the beers at the moment so no idea.

Lions have exceeded all expectations. Excluding the West Croydon game the margin hasn't been no bigger then 16 points.

Ah? I was talking about the keg lines for the tap beer.. our new staff should be cleaning the lines - and asked if Beefy raised with them the beer tasted bad?

I’ll follow up the bad beer but said coz I’m not drinking at the moment I didn't know - usually i would have had a few and noticed / raised.

Didn’t realise it was that confusing..

As for Lutheran - they played OSB, not Ingle Farm..
