I'm not sure what the final outcome was in regard to covid affected matches but

3.4 Impact of a COVID Interruption on individual matches within any Round
1. Should individual matches within any Round be abandoned, team shall be awarded 2
points each and the average weekly percentage of all participating teams of the same
competition from that round of matches.
2. The individual games shall not be rescheduled.
3. The season shall continue until the original finals are scheduled to commence.

I think it is meant to be 1 point be awarded

Impact of a COVID Interruption on a SINGLE MATCH
- Should an individual match within any round be abandoned, teams shall receive the points allocated for a draw and the average weekly percentage of all participating teams of the same competition from that round of matches.

- A COVID affected team must provide sufficient evidence as requested by the League to have the match declared as abandoned.

- The abandoned match will not be rescheduled.

What would be sufficient for 2 teams? 20 +ve and/or close contact?

Hate to miss finals by 1pt because one club has gone from having 3 teams to apparently not enough for 1.

Very easy system to manipulate

Slight exaggeration don't you think.. haven't fielded a 3rd side all season.. and only had 16 players in B grade Rd 2 by the looks of it.

If your club misses finals by 1pt, I'd hazard a guess you have bigger concerns than the outcome of a Round 3 forced draw.

Don't know why you'd think a club like Pulteney would be willing to try and manipulate any system - it really serves them no benefit, and after a couple losses early, then Easter a week off for covid is hardly going to get the competitive juices flowing.

yeah was thinking the exact same - big boy nobes wont be happy one less game to kick 100 goals - would have probably kicked 10 against Pulteney

Sufficient would be validating that they don't have at least 15 fit players to take the field (is that min amount or is it 14?).

So would be (registered players) - (covid affected) = (less than 15 to suffice).

If they have say 50 registered players, i'm guessing they'd have to provide justification and evidence of 35 covid related impacted players to claim an "abandoned game" and share points.

He'd want to improve on the 2.8 or whatever it was he kicked in rd 1 to get to that mark.

Besides that though, the one point WILL make the difference, especially if there's no forfeit against someone like oh...Pembroke for example, who would not only belt them and get the percentage but they'd actually get the 2 points.
