traditionally, the jump from 4 to 3 has been the hardest. It's not a decision you'd make without ensuring you've got good stocks or you'll just end up back where you started very quickly.

Will Salisbury West be able to fill 2 sides? Genuine question because if they can't then you'd think they would be in the same boat as Kilburn and their drop won't stop @ div 5 if 2 sides can't be fielded.

Just have a bye in the reserves comp and let them get pumped every week.

that's fine to say Q but what about the other 9 clubs that lose money by NOT having 2 games on.
I'm sure @Pag can attest...

Out of the 4 games we should've played against Kilburn last year (2 x As, 2 x Bs), we played 1. We were compensated by the league who I believe were compensated by Kilburn, when they couldn't field one side, but I'm sure the league wouldn't want to run the risk of the same happening two years in a row.

How much do you really lose by not having a Reserves game at home once in the season?
This year we had two extra full round byes, and another home round with only one game on....and managed just fine.

Point is, why should other clubs miss out at all?

If Kilburn & Salisbury West don't make the cut with the two sides. Who will go up to replace them? I am thinking Eastern Park would go up from four to three. Would Woody south and Pultney just stay in four?

It just seem so inconsequential to miss out on a Reserves game, that it's hardly worth complaining about. Some people just want something to complain about I guess.

Not sure if this is correct but there might be a bigger gathering to a higher grade reserve game than lower?
Could be wrong but.

Revenue isn't the issue, if you can't field two teams you have no place in a two team comp.

Probably more dependent on the club itself than the division.

Agreed.....History tells us clubs come and go.........the reasons are many and varied but being emotional doesn't alter the fact......

When is the deadline for these clubs? I wouldn't want this to drag out into next year.

id say February 1st would be my deadline for both clubs if Kilburn cant produce a 55 playing list of actual players and salisbury west have not found anyone to take its place in div 3 then yeah the league need to makes some big decisions
