By the way, we lost and deservedly so.

I am guessing that you now know what it feels like then, for every other D1 Reserve side over the many, many years, and then the D6 Reserve sides, with Malcolm "Rule Book" in charge. At that point Malcolm had changed his first name by depol, to Wes. Taste of your own medicine perhaps. A bit of deja vu coming back to haunt you. Malcolm/Wes has sustained excellence and gold medal winning form, for years and years, and not just the one game either. The old saying "those in glass houses should not throw stones"

Unfortuneately the club lost several players when we went into Div 1 which definitely had a huge impact on the club. Again this year in total we have had 34 clearances including 6 interstate, 6 players including Shaun Gatto to the YP league and another 6 to our feeder club Brahma Lodge including 2 past A grade B & F winners. Not complaining at all with the club promoting as many U18 players as possible this season which is where our future is. Club is doing a great job with these lads in a tough Div 2 comp.

Blacks, I hate this, I am Modbury man, but thought with state of Modbury Oval and two of top three teams playing at Perti I would wonder up there and watch a good game of footy, and certainly glad I did, was a top game and showed why at least one of those teams will be in Div 1 next year. But I certainly saw what I rate as the most influential quarter of football by an individual this millenium. Yes that is right, the last quarter by the TTG B Grade umpire had everything you would hope does not happen in Amateur football. I normally would not use the cheat word, but you could not help it with this display. And to top it all off, with his back turned, he identified a player and a runner as causes of abuse to him and I think showed them both a card, my eyes are not what they used to be, so only went by his actions. And no Blacks, if they are headed for a tribunal, I will not appear, but am quite happy to put something in writing for SAAFL if asked. Absolute disgrace this person, doing one of SAAFL's top clubs no favours at all. I know it is hard to get umpires for B Grade, but TTG come on, tell this bloke to pull his head in please.

Perhaps you could do something? Your profile say youre from TTG...
But yea he did the same thing against us a couple of weeks ago, picking fights with our runner and unnecessarily overruling the other ump. Just ruins the game.

A 200+ game player who has never been reported has been given a 7 week holiday due to amature video footage of him striking an opposition player. 7 weeks for a guilty plea and a 1st offence, what a disaster?
On the same night another player was on 3 striking charges and only received 3 weeks, consistancy with the system seems to be either non existant or MANAGED very poorly by the powers to be.
As stated before, Amature League it certainly is.......

7 weeks is high, but what's he doing belting people anyway?
Why put yourself at risk?
