Just make something up Great Catch, everyone else on here does!

I'll take this time to make some estimates on the ladder & competition. Overall I think the standard won't be what it was last year, where division 6 & the top 5 were quite strong.
Breaking it up into groups instead of defined ladder positions.

Positions 1-3
West Croydon - I was really surprised they didn't get to at least a grand final last year, they had some really quality players, pace & height. I've only heard of them losing Stubberfield, so I expect them to be around the mark again.
Brahma Lodge - Rightly or wrongly they are here, but they seemed to have regained a significant amount of the spine from the two grand final teams they had. From all reports pretty tall. With Carey running the PR machine, expect the lid kept well & truly on.
Smithfield - Dominated a pretty weak division 7 in 2014, but definitely have some quality & have added to it for the upcoming season. Has Webber boldly predicted himself to kick 120+ ;)

Positions 4-7
Lockleys - slightly under the radar (maybe cause they are geographically separated from the rest of the comp!). Have picked up a coach with a good reputation (& high public profile... in the forums). Had plenty of young players that were looking to develop & could be a bit of a bolter.
Fitzroy - Were a reasonable side, but lacked the quality of the top 4 last year. Lost a couple of highly regarded players, which they may struggle to cover with the class. I'd expect them to still be pushing for the 5.
Trinity - Coming down from div 5, they have a quiet confidence about them with some players returning. Div 6 to 5, isn't a huge jump so I expect them to be around the mark of the finals, but not in the top 3.
Ingle Farm - after some disappointing events last year, the club has now invested in youth. Have certainly lost some players, but a young developing group & a higher emphasis on team play could see this group push for the 5.

Position 8
Central United - I think they will surprise teams if they are having an off day, but they will lack the depth in class to win consistently enough to push for finals whilst rebuilding the club with youth.

Position 9
Mawsons Lakes - Unfortunately haven't heard a lot of good coming out of Mawson's . Bit of a clear out after last year, where they were probably a bit lucky to survive given that the Owls & Mitchell Park were in the position that they were in.

Pretty accurate analysis IMO.

I'd probably have Brahma as favourites with West Croydon and Smithfield closely behind on the next line of betting.

I'd expect Trinity to make the 5 at Fitzroy's expense.

No great surprise to us, he's looking for money and the other player follows him everywhere.
On the positive it gives our delegate wed. Nights off from going to thebby oval for the tribunerals, he will be hard to replace but we have a good young group that actaullys trains, to cover the losses , we might even get to keep some premiership points now { if we get any}

I must say that I ventured out to Smithfield Oval on the weekend and it looks in pristine condition................and they have moved the goalposts so they actually face each other.

Yeah mate, it has been there for a while, apparently the council have appointed someone with some nouse in the field to look after the ovals in the area and it's paying off.
It's always been a nice surface, usually really sluggish though, on Saturday it looked lush and very green but the batsmen were getting good value for shots for the first time in years.
Good work council and groundskeeper Willie.

Yeah, you can tell it's had some decent investment into the surface maintenance. Looks a treat.

I'd have West Croydon as favourites if they havent lost too many besides Stubberfield.. Brahma obviously a bit of the unknown, and expect them to be right up there given the names in.. Throw a blanket over Smithfield, Trinity and Lockleys, not much between them I dont think.. Fitzroy and Central United just behind them, but will push top sides on a good day.. Think Mawsons might struggle

I know it's only trials, but did I hear that Mawson Lakes accounted for Adelaide Lutheran last week.

I must admit, my prediction for Mawsons was only going by last year and vibe I was getting from other people, I know very little to nothing about them
