Anyone willing to have a stab at each teams chances for next year? Maybe a ladder prediction?

If you don't have CLG as flag favorites with the inclusion of Dent as head coach then I'm amazed considering they finished 3rd last year. I would expect them to @ least play in a GF considering he has come from a premiership winning stint @ what I would consider a top 10 powerhouse football club state wide....

Dent played AFL at Hawthorn, played in Sturts last premiership, coached Edwardstown to a Div 2 flag and more recently coached Happy Valley to a flag. Pretty fair credentials for a Div 5 club. Plus he is notorious for signing big names. Whoever beats CLG will be premiers. Good get for the lions. :)

you would think so yankman..they were close to going straight through div 5 this year and are the team to beat at this stage alongside elizabeth..not sure how robb stark sees them coming 8th..

CLG - finished 3rd, natural improvement sees them in the GF and early favorite
Elizabeth - finished 4th, good recruiting announced already and may become favorites after 9 rounds
CBCOC - strong B grade and good A grade squad, need to be a bit more consistent but can push for a top 2 spot with some recruits
Para Hills - appear to have gained some good players and had an awesome record at home in 2014, dark horse i reckon
Blackfriars - play a great style of football and have picked up 2 real good players with more to come perhaps?

Woodville South - maybe losing a few good ones to the country, could finish higher though under porters guidance
Rosewater - have better depth than previously in div 5 and with some pick ups could get a few places higher in their first year back
Greenacres - even with solid recruiting they have still lost some good ones as well, no depth in the B grade when injuries come
Adelaide Lutheran - relied on a few individuals to win some games last year..lacking class on the edges, somebody has to come 9th
Pulteney - seem to be on a spiral down but college clubs are known for changing things around very quickly

Nice work Zed, classy bloke.
Something's didn't go your way in the finals like losing your key and really only ruckman. All the best this season with Lockleys

From an outsiders view if CLG didn't play in the div 5 GF in 2015 it would be a disaster. The last coach was moved on and I'm not going in to politics on why it happened but if you piss the bloke off who got you to a prelim you would assume it would be for a bloke to get better results. I like Dent so this ain't a shot @ him or CLG but when you connect the dots its not rocket science to imagine the conclusion.

In saying that who is saying they'll play div 5 anyway? If Salisbury West shit the bed in div 3 then they are a fair chance to go higher?

trust you to be the voice of reason Zed. as always some well thought out observations about the silly season so far. From what i've heardPultney may be slightly better than last year with some decent college kids coming up but you'd have to lock them in for bottom 2 at this stage unless something drastic changes

depends on the circumstances i spose LK. You get 4 or 5 bad injuries to key blokes. ( Harvs, Hirsty, Mega head Marshall, Bennet etc.) Then in a league that has been extremely even in pretty much every year bar the last, you struggle to make finals. Plus you add in the challenge of getting used to a new coach, wouldnt be surprised if it takes the Lions a few rounds to get going next year anyways
