They are proving alot of people wrong are the Thunder Boys, relentless , enthusiastic young lads that are depleted with injury ( 7 first choice players missing ) not giving an inch to the opposition and are still sitting equal top.

To the umpires of todays game, NOTHINGS CHANGED!!

Portland can be felt hard done by today by the maggots, they were terrible but well done to the Thunder Boys for not letting alot of disgraceful decisions take their mind off what they were out there to achieve.
They're not equal top, they're clear top

Yea another good effort by the Thunder, getting the job done even without several first choice players out. Draper, Wareing, Graham, Pederson, McCurry and Sharpe still to come back into the side. The likes of Shaun Hinsley and Robbie Wilson picking up the slack.
Is Aaron Hinsley far off joining his brother in the 1's?

Maybe if they have a whole heap of first choice players out but surely he wouldn't get a look into Portland's A grade if they get back to pretty much full strength?

Big game for the top of the table Thunder at Walkerville this week. Win and they keep a handy break on some big clubs right behind them or lose and they could fall to 4th with a bad percentage.

The last two times the Cats and Thunder played against each other the Cats won both games with the last kick of the day. I would think there would be plenty of Thunder players and supporters who would remember this and it should be a great game between the two sides.

had been wondering the same. Looking at sportinpulse, he's kicked a couple of goals and been best player once in 6 weeks. Other than that, hasn't featured. Maybe he should have stayed at YPFL with his mates that went there this year and taught them how to eat pies and put on weight.

Swings and roundabouts. By their own admission they were lucky to win a couple of the ones they did.

Luck plays a big part in footy as Walkerville would know.

30 seconds to go or 30 minutes they lost a game does not come down to 30 seconds and in all honesty if the person who had the shot can not kick to save his or her life then they should not be in the forward lines trying to be the hero and kick the winner

on a side note guess the cash dryed up at eastern park cant buy a win and cant buy any decent player's.....

While you are taking random potshots at other clubs when you don't have the balls to list your own I think you might find that the cash pool has never been that big to start with at Eastern Park.
The majority of their players generally come through their junior ranks, it's other clubs in YPFL & Hills that throw a heap of coin at their players which hurts them.

you my friend have no idea, we lost simple as that and i cant see anyone on here making excuses just stating the fact we had a chance to win it late and didnt take our chance, was a good game of footy and IMO it was umpired as well as i have seen in the past few years. Fisher can seriously play and is going to cause headaches for alot of sides kicked half there score himself, the bloke just does not miss,
Were has Marbles gone and who is Satchel

Hey weasel, it wasn't a set shot, it was on the run. Was a windy day, not an easy shot. Im sure a superstar like your good self would have slotted it through.
I wasn't making excuses. Portland have been on the otherside a few times this year was just saying they had a chance to get up but didnt. Fisher was the difference, great hands and a super kick.
