Hasn't been that many fold over the last 20 years considering an apparent decline in in numbers playing local football.

This is all I can recall.

Burnside
Ovies
North Pines??
Kaurna
Paralowie

Cedars
Salvation Army
Golden North
Western Warriors
Adelaide High Old Scholars
Burnside-Kensington
Glandore
Para Hills
St Paul's Old Scholars

Well looks like last weeks win doesn't count for us then

Those are longer than 20 years now, all folded in CDFA era
Elizabeth North folded in the 60s
Westfields folded between 1989-90
Blakeview early 90s

Other notables just over 20 years are Ferryden Park & Campbelltown-Magill

Where were they in 2016?
Obviously the St Paul's situation is a bit different, debatable if they folded or moved to Mawson Lakes. Depends on whose revisionist history you believe.
Also Para Hills reformed again after a 1 year recess (but to be fair their juniors continued)

They didnt' fold, they relocated and re-named in a bid to gain from the growing Mawson Lakes community and grow some juniors.

That, and from memory, they wanted to move away from the school, which had done nothing for them anyway

End of 2001 season

I remember that copped they some absolute hidings in D6 that year. I ran the boundary down there for a 50-goal drubbing.

I played against Elizabeth North Saints as a teenager and I was born in the mid 70's.

Blakeview took over their oval after they folded.

Spot on with Westfields, Smithfield were the big winners out of them folding.

Couple other clubs i remember that aren't around anymore are STA/TransAdelaide, Wingfield and Walkerville. Some real interesting units ran around for Wingfield over the years! Were they ever CDFA?

I remember playing Cedars, they weren't too bad but had ugly footy jumpers

On St Pauls, how sustainable is their setup at the moment? I've heard their school footy program is practically non-existent this season? No 1st XVIII, No mid school side.. nothing..

Those three were longer than 20 years ago.
More like 25 years for Westfields (didn't Blakeview have something to do with them ending?). I can't even remember an Elizabeth North, so that must have been a bloody long time ago. And Blakeview was in 1994, IIRC, not long after Mile End (an infamous pairing).

Kaurna, TAT, Glandore, all the same blokes under different guises because they caused too much trouble.

Same with Cedars and Western Warriors

Hell, I helped out Walkerville about 3 weeks ago. That was a super fast demise.
