AFL RECREATIONAL FOOTBALL UPDATE

AFL Recreational Football is a new game designed to provide opportunities for all Australian Football enthusiasts to enjoy

participating in a modified game that has strong parallels with the traditional game. The game is played in a friendly social environment

whilst enabling people of all ages and ability levels to participate in same sex or even mixed competitions.

2006 SEASON

2005 was the first year the game was played in South Australia and the success was overwhelming:

*6 Competitions
*34 Teams
*350 Players

The SANFL is now looking for participants and teams to be involved in the 2006 season starting in Mid October.

The following competitions are targeted for 2006:
