Seems to be a two horse race at the moment, but the race for the finals is an interesting one!

Any whispers for last minute clearances across the league?

Moonta's Jack Cooper with 16 goals in 3 games, does he have the time to catch Mossy? :lol:

Big blow to Nick Gregurke and Paskeville with Nick breaking his leg in the first zone match Saturday. Probably would be leading the medal too, all the best to you fella.

Terrible news for young Nick, he absolutely would've been leading the mail medal to this stage and was almost recruit of the year for the whole comp!

Absolutely shocking news. Nick was ripping the competition apart. Wish a speedy recovery.

Eagles are nothing like they were in 2019 and Kadina’s all local side at the KDRC ground will be hard to beat.

Maitland have some massive units running round and on their smallish heavy deck will be too strong around the contest. Trenorden bog.

Question to the crowd - why wouldn't CY Cougars play at least one match at Arthurton Oval each year?

The fixture could be a great opportunity to use such a facility and throwback to the heritage of the mighty tigers, thoughts?

Yes Lords would be a great change up but the facility’s are all not up to it. The showers in the away rooms would go cold after the B grade 20 years ago so it would need extensive work to get things up to standard again.
I don’t think the new set up would have the change rooms to accommodate football.
I used to love playing there and going to the pub after for presentations and a feed.

What date is the GF planned for at the moment? Any chance it could be push back to long weekend? And if so where will it be played?

2021 GF scheduled for Sat 18 Sept at Yorketown Oval - at this stage you'd have to think the league will just miss any rounds that can't be played and stick to the same schedule, AFL GF week and long weekend wouldn't be too attractive surely

As voted on Friday night, all teams had a draw yesterday. Hopefully back playing next Saturday and things go back to normal.

Nathan Pierson from Ardrossan king hit Alby Price from Pasky. Broke both sides of his jaw, he was operated on yesterday and will be eating with a straw for 6-8 weeks. Pierson is a repeat offender getting suspended for 6 matches playing for Henley in 2019.
There was a SANFL official that saw the whole thing and he has taken it straight to the SANFL. Don’t think this thug will ever play again as there is absolutely no place for that behaviour on any football field.
