His son.
Swanno snr is also back playing at pongy.

I remember a post saying that pongy were on to a player/s from the Valleys. Correct, clearances will be coming through soon! Princis boys will improve as the year goes on.

It shouldn't be all that hard for them to improve now should it?

Maybe Pongy and valley should have an interclub preseason draft! lot of paperwork between these two clubs! :D
Superman: Well, you see, I, uh, I sort of have a problem seeing through lead.

Great New Coaches A & B Grade with great game plans & team rules, some great new Boom recruits. Rested alot of these players on the weekend at Christies Beach.
The EBFC have a great Committee and they are ALL working their butts off.

All is extreely well (Great)at eagleland?

It's true! Encounter Bay will have 45 on the track tomorrow nite or I will eat my shorts!

Richard - Long way from the Plains of Kyancutter, How would you know?

PS: Was at Christies on Saturday! Only about 22 players, Christies had to give us
10 players in first 2 Quarters. Browny had last shot on goal at the 40meters
and couldn't make the distance.

As for the shorts, Sorry their was 45 at training - including Supporters & Committee!
Never stipulated they had to be training.

talking crap again signman, chrisites gave us 3 blokes for the first two quarters and then bays made up the last four. The 3 blokes they gave us were pretty good footballers. What would you class yourself as a supporter, committe or player?

After losing a few to Jervois, Myponga have been very active with clearances. 5 cleared from outside the GSFL, with 5 still pending and 4 cleared from within the GSFL with 2 still pending. If all go through that would be a total 16 inclusions. They are either setting up a decent B Grade side or they have jagged several 0 pointers.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

These inclusions will be handy to have for numbers but will they make a difference?

Losing Juice, Sterzl, W Hutch and Tomlinson is probably 4 of their top 5 players from last yr (S Hutchinson the obvious number 1) so thats a lot to cover in my opinion. Well done to Princi in attracting players to the club tho and attacking the points system!

I used to play at Myponga and still keep in contact with mates playing there. I believe they have not had under 30 on the training track all pre season and the depth is awesome there this year. lot of 20-23 year old recruits that including a young ruckman that scored alot of mail medal votes at Crystal Brook and an association on baller from Mt Gambier. Also just heard Tim Heath has signed a clearance back and Dan thomasson is expected back approx round 3. Mudlarks may surprise

Ellis is doing something right at Victor. There were huge numbers on the oval last night and it is Tuesday night.

Approx 50+ senior players in total have trained at pongy so far. Alot of clearance so far are kids (U/17's), which is great as they will have a very good coach in Sarge. They have picked up some 0 pointers in the A's but still need a couple of talls. They'll hopefully be around the top 5. Tim Heath played on the weekend but not sure about Danno though. Hopefully he does go back.

I see Linc Jeffery is gettng cleared back. Pongy will be installing several mirrors in the change rooms as we speak. The 2008 cleo batchelor nominee and a former house mate of mine will have the pongy boys front & center fighting for his left overs!!
