Fantastic results today for most neutrals id suspect.
Dont know too many people that would be upset at the Tiges losing everything today

I'm devastated, poor club spent all that cash to finish 2nd and in a home Grand Final in front of its faithful 6 or 7 boisterous supporters. Mick Brian will also be devastated his Tigers didn't raise any cups

Was a great game to watch today. Congrats to the Barossa boys and to Deano with a lazy 6 for BOG. Cracking goal in the pocket during the 3rd!! Should be a decent night at the club tonight, enjoy boys!

Two things really stood out for me yesterday.
1. Playing King when he couldn't even run half pace or kick over a jam jar.
2. Playing a kid because they had to fit the points in.
Massive coaching errors. Just because your a major sponsor
doesn't mean you can coach.

I love this post. You should cut and paste it to an email to the Bunyip, Herald etc as an authentic sideline view of the game. Good work

A great spectacle at the track yestie dean cutting is a star and imo was the difference between the two sides. One thing that I was a little suprised by was the fact and 3/4 time the gawler central coach didnt actually spend any time making footy decisions going into the last quater u could see barrossa were getting on top late in the 3 rd even though GC were still a couple up and I thought the coach needed to address this , but it was more of a motivation speech about how he hadnt won a flag and lets get the job done. Being from the saafl i was blown away by the atmosphere truly amazing well done to the league on a great day and spectacle. .

The Gawler Central hierachy also know this and he won't be coaching next year.

Mind you without his money they wouldnt have been in the grand final.
I reckon with all the money made from yesterday they will think they can bring in someone that can coach and keep the current cash players without needing his sponsorship dollars.
It will be the guy i suggested in an earlier post

I hate Centrals just as much as anyone but reckon you guys might be a tad harsh on the coach, he lost a GF by less than a kick to a side the association gifted more point to despite winning the flag last year.
He probably did get outcoached but would think he deserves another year. Wasnt he the one responsible for all the recruiting?, would think a couple may move on if he was sent packing

Has the annual Sharpy retirement been announced yet?

Correct. For the seventh and final time, the great man has retired.

Some lads wearing South Gawler tops enjoying their Monday on Murray Street. Must have bought a dodgy hotdog somewhere, as one of them just spewed into a bin.
