They both will be playing alright, theyve missed their footy & are looking forward to playing, in particular the social side of it instead of being consumed by their busy working lives.

Talking of recruits, I reckon Bostons should go for former player Malcolm Miller at 100 miles an hour, apparantly he wants to come back here next year?

Ive been told that Paul Boxer has been announced as coach of Marble Range. Didnt he coach them before when he came back from Cairns?

Good luck to Paul & hope he does well, one of the true gentlemen in sport...

I agree, I like the concept but will be surprised if their respective leagues will release them. Especially players of quality! However I understand that SAAFL have a bye that weekend.

Hopefully for them it comes together, good on them for having a go!

Anyone hearing any other recruiting news?

Um.
What about Ben Hurrell - Aaron Castley - Mallee Miller - Kurt Stafford
Not to mention the possibility of a couple of Bascombes
Then the expected re-signings of Rhys Marsh & Jack Arbon
Others have been mentioned but not from overly credible sources.
Looks like Bostons may finally have a bit of class to play with.
Interesting to see what sort of game plan Coach V brings.

Steakn......shoosh!!

Marshy and Jack are definites, along with their apprentice Nathan Rynne. Marshy is real keen to get back into it, could make a good small forward line alongside Gerricke while Jack is a very tough uncompromising half back, we missed him the most probably.

You never start doing team placements in January though, lots of piss and wind to go under the bridge before Anzac Day
